He turned back to Crystal. "The crystal should be completely clear once the glowing stops. I am going to help your classmates now. If it does anything funny, just call me"

Second Sight returned to the board. "Alright class, I am going to run through the process of enchanting a gem with a light spell. Does anybody have questions before I begin?"

Travelture listened carefully, then decide to go back to original self. Then he picked up the crystal and looked at all the sides, Then he placed it done and teleported a bag to him, pulled out paper and started taking notes on everything that's been being said.a

Indus wandered around the library for a bit, looking for something interesting to read. A magic school had to have something.

 

He looked up and saw a sign over one of the sections, only saying 'Restricted'. That got his interest.

 

He walked into the section and began perusing what books this section held. One spine, almost all black, got his attention, and he pulled it in his magic out to read the cover.

 

Spells and Creatures of the Darkness

 

"Hm," he mumbled, and opened the book up to take a look.

Okay then. Gee, I should start to study about magic and enchanceting next time before I ask any type of questions.

Indus's ears twitched as he heard a clicking on the tiled floor, and looked up from the book. Seeing nothing was there, he shrugged and kept reading.

 

Necromancy, cutie unmarking, vampirism, He listed the table of contents in his head, raising an eyebrow with intrigue. Hm, interesting...

 

He began looking through it some more.

I wonder what we will learn today? Enchancement, obviously, but still, he just said that Earth and Pegasus magic is too weak to be considered "echancement". I will problably only watch the Unicorns making their horn glow out of nowhere instead of doing something...but...maybe my Paintbrush is enchanceting?...problably. Problably a enchanceted paintbrush.

After reriving the amathyst from the cart that Second Sight had been pulling. Flearia herself started to compare her own Amathyst to the one all unicorns had gotten. Her own was bigger, had a star like shape and was polished to shine while the amathyst from the class was a simpel, rough, non polished gemstone.

 

While Second Sight and Bass where doing some conversationing and Bass started to show her crystal magic, Flearia herself focused on her own amathyst. Infusing it with a light spell and let it glow slightly before lighting up the other gem to finaly leth them both move up into the ceeling with the opal that was flying around.

Indus skimmed through a few pages in the chapter of Necromancy, which showed diagrams and casting circles used to reanimate and control the undead. The cutie unmarking spell page described the necessary incantations and magic power required for such a dark act as removing a cutie mark.

 

I should keep this for teaching material, he thought as he closed the book, and walked over to the librarian's desk.

Crystal kept her focus on the crystal in front of her trying to clear the stone as the teacher said she could she was not sure how to achieve this. She focused on it more. "How do I make you work?" She thought about various things then the stone turned clear, she was not even sure how it happened. @,  "Teacher, teacher! I got it to work."

Heart started to glow her horn, and touched the horn with the gem... ...but do Love Enchancement works on inanimate objects?

 

Musical started to flap his wings at the cloudy gem he got. That's...problably not how I do it.

 

Blossom started to look at the Green gem she got. Well, according to myself, plants need water and sunlight to grow, so... Blossom licked her hooves, and rubbed her hooves against the Gem ...Problably not.

everypony around summer was using magic, it didn't feel right. summer looked over her shoulder to see what the others were doing, they were all focust on their own chrystals. relax summer, they are not casting spells on you. it's safe she thought. then she looked at her own gem, she had to make it do something apearently but how. she had no idea so she just stared at it and concentrated but nothing happened, just like she expected. then she looked over to what flearia was doing, she folowed the gems that flew to the ceeling with her eyes. 'how do you do that?' she whispered.

Flearia looked to Summer who just had whispered to her and made a small smile. "I'v nearly mastering enchanting in it's full during some of my travels. I put a mixture of tre spells in both gems. A bit of accumilating light together with a come to life spell and a flight spell. Making them shine and able to fly around on their own will." Flearia whispered back while putting a hoof out in the direction of the two amathysts she had made flying around, making them fly back down into her hoof and lit her horn. dispelling the energy inside them and turning hem back to normal. "Light is the easiest magic to make while the other two are more adept level."

 

She looked with great interest in Summers own gem, a celestine, unlike it's normal clear look had an almost cloud like inside. "I'v seen thease kinda enchantments before... Tough only pegasi or alicorns can use them, It reacts like a storm cloud. Emitting a latent jolt."

 

She keept petting Irra who was still in her lap, looking like she had fallen asleep.

Travelture levitated the crystal and decided to change the color. He thought that since he can change himself, why not a crystal. His horn lit up and the crystal glowed a lime green, then dull as it hit the table. He poked it and it gave off a quick light then dulled again. He wrote notes on what he did and placed the crystal in his bag.

Indus gave the librarian a polite nod before going off on his way, back through the halls to his office with the book in his magical field.

 

Hm, that was easier than I expected. Perhaps rules on book lending aren't as lenient towards staff.

 

He blinked and turned upon hearing the hissing, and noticed the scorpion on the ground.

 

One of Shadow's creatures must have escaped again.

What if I try to remove the clouds? Musical started to flap both of his wings harder, trying to remove the clouds that were on the White Gem.

 

Sweet Blossom, once again, licked the Gem and showed it to the sunlight, hoping that something would happen.

 

Heart finished using her spell on her Gem, but nothing happened. She then asked a question to Second Sight

Indus peered down at the scorpion and used his magic to gently lift it up.

 

"Hm, Shadow may be looking for you," he mused, and began walking back towards the outside, "May as well bring you back home then, yes?"

 

I suppose a small detour wouldn't do a dent in my research anyway.

The scorpion squirmed to get free of the magic but fail. the red lighting dimed as he opened his mouth. The red glow was brighter at the back of its throat like it was going to breathe fire.
