Would you watch G5 Ponies?

  I would definitely give G5 a chance.  Shows can get better over time or grow on me, so even if it starts out so-so I would still keep watching it.  The only thing that would stop me is if G5 turns out to be terrible.  However, I have faith that G5 will manage to maintain G4's charm. Hopefully the writing will stay the same and the characters will remain just as lovable, if its even possible for them to be as lovable as the G4 ponies.  

 

  I guess you could say I'm optimistic about G5 and am interested in seeing the new characters and what direction it will take.  Hopefully it won't disappoint.

Depends on how it differs from G4. If it can retain the generally good writing and make new characters that are relatable and lovable in their own ways, then of course. I'd definitely be interested. I'd watch about seven episodes and then decide from there whether to continue on.

Depends on how much Hasbro decides to meddle with it, honestly they wouldn't know quality if it shot them between the eyes.

I would be skeptical if it was in an entirely different universe though, which it probably would be considering G4 Equestria was Lauren's idea.

If G5 looks like s**t like G1-G3.5 then HELL NO! If it looked like G4 I would totally watch it. But yeah, G1-G3.5 was crappy, I don't like those.

I would watch it, for a while at least even if I don't initially like it. I usually go through a couple of episodes before deciding whether or not to continue watching.

I don't have any high expectations of it though. They would probably get some new people working on it, so even if G5 was very similar to this generation, it of course wouldn't be the same. And regardless how good it would be, I don't think it would have a following as big as G4 has.

Certainly, I'm open to watching new generations! Not previous generations though as they aren't appealing to me.
