Halo + MLP?

Hi! I finished a 3D pony armour similar to the ODST from Halo and I thought that maybe i could put a render here, if you want more info, I made it with Blender Cycles with 150 samples.

Very impressive. Everything about it is perfect (unless you beg to differ for whatever reason I may not know of). Texture quality, smoothness, model, etc.

 

That model and the armor can be good assets to use in an open-source engine and even SFM.

Really much thanks! Yes a low poly version could be used in some game engine, i was thinking in Unreal Engine 4, but my computer can't handle it (too much hot)

Thanks, I've been using Blender for 2-3 years, but i don't study anything related to modeling (computer engineering), i learnt everything with tutorials in my free time

Did you say too much hot? Sounds like you could use a cooling upgrade. Anyway, Halo Reach, you said? Sounds great! You don't think you could make a model with a pony in the armor holding a Magnum or an Assault Rifle? (I know it sounds weird, but I'd love to see it done)

I work in a laptop with an Intel HD, the renders i can make are only with CPU computing, and i can't upgrade a laptop. And yes, I can make a render the gun, but first i have to model it xD

I don't know, i hope that in a few months or something, btw i will keep doing more stuff, Blender doesn't take much resources if you aren't rendering.

Oh, well I thought you were on a desktop, so I immediately thought that you could use a new heatsink. If you ever have money to get a new computer, you should build your own desktop. If you want help with that, PM me, and I'll give you more details.

Now that i have a low poly model finished i will made some weapons, and next I will start with a Spartan model, i'm still not sure what armour, you know, not all the armours works well with the pony shape.
