Drawing oc's for other people

I have no idea where else to ask this question so if this is the wrong place I apologize, still new to the forums.

 

Anyway, I was wondering if people would get upset if I were to draw their oc for them without asking and be like "surprise I drew your oc cause I need the practice and am bored" and send them a copy of the finished drawing?

Perhaps some would get upset, but personally, I would be kinda happy to recieve a drawing O' my OC and kinda help someone out with practice

 

Try it, I suppose. Unless it's copyrighted, in which case, gotta ask, I suppose.

Sure, go ahead! I do this sometimes as well. I'm totally not expecting it now, so...

Some people put a lot of hard work into thinking of the design etc for their OC, and in general I would ask anyone before drawing their OC unless you know them really well, just saying that due to the plagiarism rules and stuff x)

If you are wanting to practice on peoples OCs, and are worried about people getting upset about it you could always start a request shop. I know from experience, that you will probably end up getting more requests than you ever wanted. 

 

Or you could just look around the request guild forums, and try to do things that people have already requested.

I think that it is fine as long as you don't advertise their OC as your own... personally tho, I would be flattered if someone just randomly drew Starlet for me!
