Thank you Randimaxis for this Wonderful Avatar. smile.png

Please, don't be afraid to talk to me. I am not as unapproachable, as you might think.

Well it is called No Second Prances which is a play on the phrase no second chances, so I am thinking it is going to be either a Starlight Glimmer episode seeing as how she is a reformed villain who got a second chance and seems to have a major role this season due to marketing.

Or it could be about Diamond Tiara seeing as how she is also a reformed antagonist and could also have some story potential in how she develops from here on out.

But I find the later scenario to be less likely.

Diamond Tiara wasn't fully forgiven for what she did all that time, and she tries to make it up for them. The foals aren't so forgiving, unfortunately.

Starlight visits Our Town, and they haven't forgiven her. She tries to prove that she's good, but they think it's a trap.

The Flim Flam Brothers decide to change and be more honest, but the ponies are very doubtful of that.

A pony wants to be a dancer, but she messed up on audition.

Pinkie Pie plans a party for someone, and it doesn't turn out the way wanted it. Pinkie wants to prove that she could do better, but the pony doesn't want to have anything to do with her. She keeps trying to convince that pony to let her try again.

A misunderstanding leads the ponies to think that Starlight Glimmer/Diamond Tiara has gone back to their old ways and they do everything to show they've changed for the better.

Lesson: Your past doesn't determine your future; everypony can change.

Or

Princess Twilight Sparkle enters a rodeo dancing competition with her friends but they struggle to be honest with her due to her status.

Lesson: Everypony deserves the truth.(A bit like Leap of Faith but with some minor changes)

It could be a reformed character struggling with their reputation despite being changed, but that's been done before in RR. It could be a character falling back to evil ways, but fricking Discord of all people pulled that in the most epic way possible and nearly destroyed Equestria with it, so I don't think they'll do that again either.

This might have nothing to do with forgiveness at all and could just be an artifact title, or it's meant to be more literal and it's actually about prancing. Cheating at some kind of competition that involves it or something? Or maybe Pinkie isn't allowed to prance anymore, who knows?

It could be taken as a reformation episode. It'd be pretty sweet if Starlight Glimmer and Diamond Tiara could have a little chat--Especially since she doesn't have as 'easy' of an access to a good adult role model like the CMC.

Buuut my first thought is that it's going to be an episode about dancing. :P

Can only speculate so much on a few words!

So my idea: Twilight is preparing for a diplomatic assignment in Prance and is talking about the traditional ball that Prance is well know for and looking forward to it. Celestia or the Mane 6 then tell Twilight she sucks at dancing, Twilight dismissing them until they show her proof. Twilight accepts it and then goes knee deep in studying and practice in the week or so up until she has to leave, but she only show marginal improvement at best.  The lesson is that some things you are going to suck at and that's okay and if you really want to get good at them it's going to take a LOT of time, work and effort to get good at, not just a quick little one and done session.

Alternatively: Rarity is finally ready to open her Manehatten branch after finding the prefect location in episode 3 of the season, but now she needs a regional manager (ie her Sassy Saddles for Manehatten) but all the ponies that apply aren't qualified for the position, except Suri Polomare.  Will Rarity be able to forgive her and maybe give her a second chance or will she be too hung up on the past to move forward and is Suri really all that trustworthy? (Answer: Well given that she forgave someone who magically assaulted her, attempted to brainwash her, and tried to erase her from existence all in the span of less than a minute, more than likely, but Suri did something unforgivable, she stole fabric while being a bit of a jerk and that's far worse than anything Starlight did)

I kind of like it. Much like what I was thinking but with some world building thrown in as well which would match up with the 'explore Equestria' theme the season is supposed to follow. Does seem very reminiscent of Flight to the Finish and Hurricane Fluttershy but with a different interpretation.

Too derivative in my opinion. But if I got to see Coco Pommel again I might reconsider.
