Hey there!

What do you think about jewelry as a whole - does it make you view or see a person differently if they have jewelry on? Do you have any jewelry yourself and if yes, do you use it daily if ever?

As for myself, I have recently acquired myself a couple of rings and a chain bracelet (because you aint no man until you have a chain bracelet yo, jk)

If others like and want jewelry, then that is fine with me, but I honestly don't see a point to jewelry as a whole. To me, it is just a bunch of really expensive shiny things that serve basically no purpose at all. A $5,000 diamond necklace isn't going to do a whole lot, except just hanging there around your neck.

I find jewelry to be absolutely pointless, rather pretentious, and a waste of resources; pretty much what the person above said

I personally just don't care much for 'tradition' or symbols in general

Eh, i don't care either way. I don't think any differently of a person if they have something pricey on or a fake replica. If it looks cool, then hey, enjoy it.

I used to wear a cheap chain bracelet i found at a flea market once. But it got discolored and started rusting after a while so i got rid of it. Don't own other pieces now.

Jewelry is simply another way to express your unique individuality -- like one's hair or a style of clothing. It's only important if you think it is. Some people do, some people don't. People wear jewelry to represent themselves and in turn it will effect how others perceive them. I look at it this way: this is how someone chooses to represent themselves and I may or may not like it based on my own preferences. For example, a lot of jewelry comes off as gaudy to me.

I ear earrings and a necklace all the time when I'm out in public, because I like how it looks on me. I don't wear much beyond that because it wouldn't fit my personality nor how I wish to present myself to others.

I used to wear a lot of jewelry until I started losing it, I liked wearing bracelets.  I don't really care if others do or do not wear jewelry, it's really none of my business.

I don't look at people wearing jewelry any different than the way I look at people who don't. As for myself, I have some small bracelets I wear all the time, which are made of rope with two colored beads, and I have two leather bracelets, a steel, sword-shaped pendant with an image of a dragon or snake in it and three small black stones, and a jade dragon. I only wear those when I feel I'm doing enough training and healthy eating...with the result I haven't worn them in a year, pretty much. But once I get back on track I'll be wearing them daily again.

Lastly, I've got a pretty fancy watch that I generally only wear when I try to look formal.

I have no jewelry, except where it counts ;)

Jk, that would be weird. I'm scared of piercings and stuff  so I personally wouldn't get it, and I think gauges are kinda nasty

I like jewelry, it looks pritty and sparkly and even though I don't wear it a lot I really like it. I also like making my own jewelry, it's such a calming activity and you get something beautifull from it.

But for other people, I don't care if they wear jewelry or not.

I'm ok with jewelry, but I don't really like wearing some... (Idk, guy things?)

However, when I talk or look at people. I don't usually see the jewelry they're wearing at all!

Also, I don't think someone with jewelry is any different from one without.

As for my own jewelry... I just have a simple cross necklace that I put on time to time. Though, It rusts constantly and I need to buy a new chain for it soon! :3

I thing jewelry looks good as an accessory, but paying hundreds or thousands of dollars for it is kind of pointless (unless it's something super special, like a wedding ring. Then I can understand splurging a bit). I'd wear some, but no amount of jewelry would make me look good. Anyone know a good plastic surgeon?

The only jewelry I wear are watches, necklaces, and earrings. Sometime rings as well.
