Way too cold right now. I can notice a change out there in people's frequency at putting up Christmas lights and decorations, as no one want to be outside in this cold.

We've just had storm Barra, fortunately I'm on the east side of the country, but the Maud Foster Drain outside (I live in The Fens, so it's a drainage channel like a canal) is quite high!

The past couple of days have been nice and December-like. Sadly tomorrow we're back in the upper 70s. There are far too many 70s in the forecast and not enough 40s/50s or below. Very depressing.

70 degrees. It's been in the 70s what feels like 50% or more of December. What is this nonsense? December is supposed to be the best month of the year, and now it's been ruined.

Prepare for me to be extra grouchy this Spring.

Pretty with all the white slush on the trees. But not so fun to plow it away. Will it melt by itself or do I have to work?
