An Equestrian Tale of Woe?

You're watching an episode of MLP:FiM as it carries you along through adventure, friendship, and a world of magic, only to have your heart ripped out as the episode ends, and you look out the window and reenter the real world... "Why can't I go to Equestria?" you think, as you sit there with an empty feeling in your chest.

Does anyone else feel melancholy when you finish watching an episode of MLP: FiM or something related? How do you deal with it?

This is exactly how I feel sometimes.  It first happened to me when I finished reading the last book in the Harry Potter series, and I just felt so down for a few whole days before it eventually wore off.  I often also get this feeling for MLP, but it isn't that bad because the series itself hasn't come to an end yet, and neither has the fandom.  I am also practicing lucid dreaming, and it feels great to be able to interact with the ponies in dreams if it can't happen in the real world.

I take the values I believe in and live by them, making the world a little better one step at a time.

It is an endless battle for progress, but it is in this battle I feel alive.

Not at all. MLP is simply a show imagined by writers and animators. This is a world of creation and imagination. We bring life in the way of animation and books. Equestria seems wonderful but I love earth and what has to bring.
