So looking from the outside in, we have the main doorway. You open the door and you see the grand staircase immediately in front of you just a bit of a distance away. To the left and slightly down the way we have the sitting room. From there, there are a few offices that branch off of that room.

 

To the right of the staircase and down a ways you have the dining room and further down is the kitchen. From the kitchen is the greenhouse and outside that is a fairly vast garden.

 

If you were to go under the staircase you would find a billiard hall.

 

Going up the stairs you find the guest rooms which are all to the left of the stairs. There are more than just the four, but that is all we really need for now. Further down you will find the maids quarters, as well as the cooks quarters.

 

To the right of the stairs in the upper level we have the study, which was Mr. Body's private collection of books and other materials.

 

There are bathrooms throughout the manner.

 

Is that a pretty good visual?

That is where the inspiration came from after all lol. Not quite the same layout but probably pretty close lol.

You know, I did take a semester in drafting in high school, if you can, you can PM me the general idea of what you think the whole layout is first, second and whatever other floors there are and I could try to draw out a basic floor plan for everypony to use as a reference. I did assume it was the same layout as the Clue mansion, either taken from the board game or taken from the movie classic. But, I can do that, if you wish.

He has a reason for being there, and a secret. His motive can be flexible. I think at dinner the characters can talk more with each other.

Colonel Mustard pulled the letter out of his pocket and rechecked the address. "Oh my, I seem to have the wrong address. The will reading I was to attend was on South Springdale. My oppologies." He stood from the table, paused, took one more bite of food, and left the room.

First course is a fresh vegetable salad with sunflower vinegaret and a glass of apple cider.

Second course will be grilled hay steaks with a white gravy and some steamed carrots.

Third course will be a pumpkin and cream soup.

And for desert an apple crisp with vanilla ice cream with a dash of cinnamon.

No worries. And as for the Colonel's question for why you are all there and how you know Mr. Body, I will send you all a PM with just a brief explanation of how Mr. Body was connected to you all okay. For now you can just kind of avoid the question by trying to change the topic. Gives for more of a "mystery" as to why everypony is there.
