So, Alex S posted a link to a statement that Notacleverpony made just a little while ago. Here's the link:

For those who don't know who Notacleverpony is, he was a brony musician who 'retired' 7 months ago. You might recognize "Lower the Moon" or "For the Lunar Republic". He retired because he had personal problems that he did not explain.

 

Now, I discovered him in January. I was ecstatic to hear these wonderful songs made by an amazing artist, and then I learned that he was retired. I was literally heartbroken; and whenever one of his songs came up on my iPod, I would feel a rush of sadness. He has inspired me so much. His work has made me want to set a legitimate goal in my life. Not many people can do that; but there was something about Notacleverpony that just.. Well, inspired me. I am so happy to hear that he is okay, and that he is working on producing music again.

She won't make anymore music. She has dropped off of the face of the internet and will likely not return any time soon.

He plans to produce more music, and I'm sure he's going to make more pony music as well.

 

Well that's good to hear; always nice to learn that somebody has resolved and overcome any personal problems that were so serious that they actually were prevented from doing projects they're passionate about. Hope to hear some great music from him soon!
