So, I'm thinking about writing a fanfic based in the universe set in My Little Dashie.

The plot is more or less going to revolve around several people dealing with waking up one morning with foals that look like their ponysonas on their doorstep, and having to raise them and help them figure out a way to get home.

 

I think maybe the concept is a little washed out, but I'm in no way trying to compete with MLD on any sort of level. I just thought it'd be fun to write a fanfiction in that universe.

 

Opinions?

It's up too you, really. You have the idea, so why not make it?And in my eyes it sounds interesting, makes me wonder what I do, when Rising as a foal is on my door suddenly ... probably cuddle the hay out of him XD

I had an idea like that.

A brony wakes up by his phone ringing. When he answers it, it's his brony friend shouting at him excitedly to come over. He does and he sees that somebody by the name of twilightsparkle on Skype is messaging his friend, acting like the Twilight from the show. They begin to realize it is actually the real Twilight Sparkle talking to them through some sort of wibbly wobbly timey whimey... stuff. They might either get so greedy that they eventually try to go through a portal to the MLP universe and die in transit or try to close the portal so the fabric of time and space doesn't get torn apart, but IDK which would be a better ending.

 

As for your idea, I think it's great. Just try to make the writing less cheesy and you'll be fine. Or if you want to leave the cheese in as an homage, you can too. (oh crap I just upsetted all of the MLD fans by calling MLD cheesy I better get my flame shield)
