So was I the only to get all butt hurt by not seeing a foal bump at some point?

 

I mean horses are pregnant for almost an entire YEAR.

 

Your going to sit there and tell me that she just hide away in the palace for 11 months?

 

Now before the flames start, the reason for asking this is just a simple time table. Not seeking controversy, deviant art links, or attention seeking devices. It just seems so odd we can re-animate Startlights mane style, but we couldnt get a Candy butt gut.

Because kids seeing a baby bump on a pony might cause them to ask where babies come from, or ask how they're made. 

 

It's a dodgy prospect for a TV-Y show. Just having Flurry appear keeps kids from asking.

No, you're not the only one, Summer Wish.  I really wanted this, for realism, continuity, etc.

Aaaaaand...?  There's a problem with that?!  Sarcastic tone aside, I really see no problem with this.  It's a natural topic that young kids are curious about, and it should be answered and dealt with.  I realize that the argument that would arise is that TV shouldn't answer the question, or even broach the subject at all, and only parents should deal with these issues.  Personally, I'm on the side that feels that these (completely natural) issues should not be made into as big of a deal as they are.  It would not scar or upset children to see a pregnant Cadance, ask frank questions, and get honest answers.  But I still realize that there would be a sh*tstorm of angry parents unless the show's rating was bumped up, which wouldn't be good either.  It's sad to me, because I think it would be a-ok and perfectly healthy to deal with this sort of thing on the show.  I mean, unless parents keep kids in solitary confinement, they're gonna see pregnant women in real life, right?  Y'know, cause they're out there, walking around like regular people (stupid Sixth Sense reference...).  There's no need to shield kids from it.

 

Personally, I think it was just annoying and potentially more confusing to have the little pile of snot just appear like she did.  I wanted a Shadance (is that a thing?  Is that the ship name?  "Shadance"?) spotlight in which she's pregnant and they develop their characters.

You mean the same exact way they feel whenever they have a character in a new outfit, and thus find a million fan pictures of it being sexified?

 

Yes, to some, many actually, a pregnant female is a beatiful thing, I will even go on to say some find it "hot".

 

But tell met he difference between Candy butt getting a prego bump, AND AJ making out with an apple (you forgot about that slow juice drip scene, didnt you...I won't forget, the internet wont forget!)

 

Here is my final statement. I am a grown man of 30 and I am a proud member of this community. But I am also a adult that realizes when I am being talked down too. If you go an entire season (mostly) with the hype train of Candy butt being prego, then just have a magic baby appear. That is just like talking about how great Pokemon go! is going to be, then have it be complete crap (it isnt!).

 

Why push this issue?

 

For the exact reason you have stated (its too adult, it makes kids ask questions, etc)

 

........How is that not the entire point of this series! To educate children, give them morals. I would love a scene with Princess lawn dart being called fat by a filly when she is clearly pregnant, only for that filly to learn she is carrying life! I have SEEN this happen irl at the store or the mall or whatever, children dont know, that doesnt mean you should hide it from them.

 

Long rant short, this was lazy writting and I have come to expect alot towards the writting of this show.

Horses are a popular topic amongst young girls. In almost all horse books I've read, even those meant for young children, the gestational period and womb stages of a mare have been shown.

 

As well as aforementioned, this show is about morals and real-life parallels. Why keep the fact where babies come from a secret? It makes no sense at all and makes Hasbro look like a coward who is afraid to show something EVERY CHILD should know about.

 

(maybe they just want to stick to the old "stork brought you to us from Jesus" thing. idk)

 

Or is the fact of making Flurry Heart appear suggesting that babies come from mere magic in Equestria? 

 

We bronies being older may analyze and interpret stuff real deep (that's what adults do), but this concept of pregnancy is TOO DAYUM OBVIOUS for any kid not to have a "hang on a second!" moment about it.

 

You have failed, Hasbro. You were so keen on pleasing us bronies you forgot about your original target demographic. Slack off from us for a while and just FUDGIN' THINK.

I would champion a "flash back" to her in mid pregnance scene, during the season 6 finale which clearly is going to features Flurry Heart. (You can't get away with her being in the opening and not have her be the center of the Finale!)

 

And while we are at it! Lets get that time travel scope back in here! Lets see a FUTURE form of FH show up to  be the word of reason just like Twilight did all thoses seasons ago. The fans would go nuts at that reference.

 

And then lets get Starlight to sacrifice herself, because lets be honest, your first 16 episodes of this season trying too show her "grow" or "change" was done better in Sunset in 3 MINUTES!

 

While we are scripting out the finale, lets get a Princess Tia and Lulu filly flash back, getting a warning from Starswirl!

 

Do all this, and you can go into your 7th and final season (my guess the show will end with the film which comes out in Nov, a perfect time period for one more season to lead up to it).

You honestly think they wouldn't draw something completely odd even with the most normal things? Just the mention of Cadance having a baby would produce a slew of disturbing pictures.

 

As for how quick Cadance had her baby maybe they used the same magic that Twilight used to hatch out Spike.

Because this is a very risky thing to have on mlp. Sure they showed Spirit's mom pregnant in the movie Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmeron, but this is different. Sure they've shown pregnancies in other shows aimed at kids, but tbh, I couldn't see where they'd fit it in, unless they could've done something right at the start of S6E1, but again, kids show and pregnancy being a risky subject and scene...
