Would Pinkie Pie benefit from some Ritalin?

I think her excessive energy helps her with her talents like throwing parties and making ponies happy, and meds would hinder her ability to do those things, which would lead to her becoming sad because she can't effectively do those things, which would lead to...

Possibly.

But maybe she is already on drugs and that would explain why she acts the way she does.

Adding Ritalin to the equation could lead to her suffering a drug overdose.

Do you think Pinkie Pie would end up greatly benefiting from regularly taking some Ritalin considering her very obvious ADHD?

I don't think that its that bad. She can clearly function, so why would she need it? She holds down a job and has friends that love her and that she loves. I don't really agree with the whole thing about how if you have ADHD, but you still function in society, that you need medication. I've been repeatedly diagnosed with ADHD but I still don't need medication for it. Screw what society thinks is ''normal''

I don't really remember any moment in MLP where Pinkie has shown signs of ADHD, to me Pinkie's just a girl who really likes parties and friendships. So I think Ritalin would actually have a negative impact on her.

Not needed since she doesn't fit the diagnostic criteria for ADHD, nor the APA's accepted definition for when something is considered a Disorder.

Remember, there is a social component to diagnostic procedures in mental health. Pinkie no longer falls under this social component.
