how does flashlight work?

first thing first i would like to point out i do not like this ship one bit but i am curious as to how the heck they are going to make it work

the human world twilight is a total shut in nerd who has hardly even met flash sentry
where as pony twilight has met both flash sentry's in the human and pony world and had shared a blushing moment with both,
now having 2 flash sentry's for 1 twilight is absurd but they both are interested in the princess so nerd twilight doesn't get one :/

any ideas on how this colision might be resolved? because to me this is just one big maritime disaster XD

I always misread that ship name.  And it would be immediately resolved if Flash Sentry were to die.

I don't really like the ship between Flash Sentry and Twilight, but I can see the reasoning behind it. As far as I know FlashLight Isn't canon so It's nothing to really get stressed about. Correction, the human Twilight WAS a shut in nerd. Remember the ending to Friendship Games? That ending leaves me to believe Twilight started being more open with other people afterwards, just like pony Twilight did in the show, so that rules out the impossibility. The way I see it, It's perfectly rational if people want to ship human Flash and human Twilight and pony Flash with pony Twilight. BUT, like I said, I still don't ship it. It's kinda funny, Twilight has a better connection with anyone else than Flash Sentry no matter which world you're looking at. Blushing a little and having a couple awkward conversations and a dance doesn't make up a couple either. Take what I'm saying with a grain of salt though, I do ship certain characters that I'd rather not admit to. And besides, there are other characters in both FIM and EG that I think would make a much better match for Twilight than Flash Sentry, though more so in FIM. It just makes no sense to me, but that's my opinion.

Flash Sentry only had one major appearance in Friendship Games. I don't know what he'll think about Sci-Twi in Legend of Everfree, over the fact that Equestria's Twilight most certainly won't be in that film.

When I saw this thread, I honestly was thinking to reply with "Take apart the flashlight and look at its components, then you'll see that the way a flashlight works is with a few batteries, the conductor spring, then the light generator all concealed in a case with a lens for amplifying the light." In all seriousness, SciTwi seems to be becoming more outgoing as of Friendship Games, and she could easily develop an interest in Flash. Doesn't seem the series wants to do that right now, given how their first meeting went. Pony Twilight could maybe return, but that doesn't seem likely. Besides, SunLight 4ever.
