Headcanons on the "Inspiration Manifestation" book

Here's my headcanon about that book's history. What's yours?

 

I believe the book was created by Discord as one of his contingency plans should he be dethroned. We already saw one of his plans in "Princess Twilight Sparkle", and he probably had more than one. He seems to like complex plans. We also saw him increase in power when the CMC got into a chaotic fight in front of him. Yes, that was probably also because the EOH had been transferred to the Mane 6, but it's possible sufficient chaos surrounding him would have freed him anyway. Inspirarity's rampage was certainly chaotic in nature. 

 

I also believe Sombra was a victim of the book and an example of what the book makes its user if left unchecked. Both Sombra and Inspirarity were obsessed with shiny things (gold and jewels for Inspirarity, crystals for Sombra) and only appeared to care about themselves and their own power. Both Sombra's magic and the book's magic were referred to as dark (and note that Discord's chaos magic is literally dark, if Tirek's draining was any indication). Sombra seemed to have the power to create anything he wanted (the weird crystals, the giant staircases, the worst-nightmare door), and that last one makes me think he learned another spell (maybe more than one) from the book.

Sombra's powers actually come from him being the long-lost second-in-command of an entire race of interdimensional beings called the Umbrum.

the Book is one of Meadbrook's 8 magical items.
Each of meadowbrook's items was a failed attempt to artificially ascend a Unicorn into an alicorn by drastically enhancing their magical power-- The alicorn amulet was one, the Book was another, and there exist six more items.

 

Each of them, in addition to NOT working, invariably drives its user insane or corrupts them in addition to ehancing their magical powers.

The book originally belongs to Starswirl the Bearded. He gave the book to the Royal sisters as a keepsake because he created the book as a artificial source of inspiration. He thought that if he where to be inspire by the book's spell than he can become greater but he later found the dangerous effects and deemed the book a curse.

The plot magic within is super tier magic created by supreme beings HappyBoy87 and I1ikeTortoises for the purpose of trolling town halls. It can only shape physical items that cannot contend against usual lethal abilities used by high level players and monsters. This item is unobtainable in multiplayer since it’s basically a resource hack that circumvents crafting.
