Fallout Equestria is something of an oddity as I believe it combines MLP lore with the Fallout series. It wouldn't be just Hasbro having an issue with it--assuming they even do--but also the developers behind Fallout. I'm not sure what their stance is on Fallout Equestria but I'm guessing that they are fine with it. They haven't complained about it so far. My Little Portal is something I'm not familiar with so I can't comment on it.

Alright, thanks for the feedback. At least Hasbro is okay with Fallout Equestria.

I wouldn't take my thoughts as absolute since I don't know much of the details, but I'm glad that I was able to assist.

Hey, I appreciate talking with you and voicing my feedback regarding the finale. I'm probably one of those several Bronies who did not like the finale due to how it was written or how some of the more major characters were portrayed as being useless again similar to what we've seen in previous season premieres/finales.

The writers were taking a risk by having secondary characters taking center stage while having the main cast pushed off to the side for them to be rescued later. I've watched the finale several times now and I'm starting to appreciate them more. Granted, there are still some issues that I feel ruin the overall experience, but I don't see the two episodes as all that bad.

Yeah, I may still watch the Season 6 finale again myself, but I still have my issues that ruin the overall experience of the episode as well, so at least we both have something in common regarding what we felt in the finale did not work out all that well.

Disappointing ending, especially after the build-up of Part One

I wish Starlight had gotten more focus and development, especially since her last episode put her right back at square one yet she's apparently supposed to be all good now

Not to mention Celestia and Luna are once again kidnapped without a fight, which is a very poor showing on their part

She's supposed to still be learning how to be good, which is clearly something that doesn't come easily to her. She's Twilight's student for a reason. Her first instinct is to use magic on her problems, she has a tough time fully understanding the moral implications of her actions until they're pointed out to her, etc.

I do agree, she should have gotten a bit more time and more development, but it's also pretty clear she's going to be around for season 7, so I doubt her development is finished either. I think that, despite her place as the main character for the two-parters, the writers were trying to keep her as a secondary main character elsewhere, like the CMC or Spike. Even then, already people complain she stole the spotlight too much.

Yep, not learning "to be good", but learning "how to be good". It's a life of lies she's weaved herself that she's lived so far. But let's not forget that should she clear all of her issues in a single season, there wouldn't be anything left for her the next seasons.

That and this very process can create situations otherwise impossible in which to find our other ponies!! I'm thinking of Starlight having to welcome Rarity's clients for instance as Rarity suddenly has some urgent matter to tend to, for example. Or Starlight becoming clingy, clingy, CLINGY and learning that everypony needs time to themselves.

There were no laserbeams in this finale. Which has not happened since the season 1 finale. THAT'S BLASPHEMY!!!

7.8/10 Not enough laserbeams - IGN :P

Chrysalis shot a laser beam at Starlight.

This finale has the bare minimum of laser beams.

Well technically she shot more of a revealing ray at Thorax to destroy his disguise. A laserbeam in contrast does nothing of the sort and is supposed to harm/destroy the user. Much like in did to Twilight in the season 3 finale.

I'll give you that though. I totally forgot that! Still that was only one laserbeam.

Compared to the season 2 there was the twilight gatling gun. The season 3 finale there were 5 laserbeams that destroyed and rebirthed Twilight. The season 4 finale well I don't have to explain that one. And the season 5 finale there were all the laserbeams with Starlight vs Twilight showdown.

To be honest the season 6 finale was devoid of as much action as the previous two (seasons 4 and 5). It was odd to say the least. But I admire how they completed the Starlight arc and all. Also seeing Chrysalis throw Starlight around like a rag doll was pretty brutal.

The final resolution of how they defeated and reformed all the changelings somehow reminded me of the ending to the Neverending Story 2. You know when the kid said to the evil queen "I wish you had a heart". It feels kind of shoehorned in. At least in my opinion.

Then again, given the situation the good guys were in to defeat the changelings. I don't see another way it could have happened.

I was more referring to the one she shot at Starlight as she was attacking the throne with a rock.

I think it makes sense. Starlight told them they didn't have to live their lives starving all the time, and then they were shown proof that was true. If their motivation was that they were just hungry and wanted food, and they followed Chrysalis to get it, I could see them changing quickly from not wanting to be hungry anymore.

I do think they could have improved this a little by just showing at least a few Changeling's refusing to change and sticking by Chrysalis though, some of her more loyal servants that wouldn't give up on their queen that easily. You wouldn't need any dialogue for that, just a few not changing and flying away with her at the end.

The one part I'm not exactly in line with is how their love beams effectively became a weapon of mass destruction, blowing up the throne in the process. Nothing explains this at all. Or perhaps they weren't just lovebeams but the changelings casting weird laserbeams directly at the throne? I sure hope so, or else every time a changeling evolves, everyone will go "take cover, a changeling is evolving!!"

Well, Shining and Cadance were quite powerful when they used their love to defeat Chrysalis, and the Crystal Heart is powered by love as well and that thing actually blew Sombra up. So, not the first time we've seen love weaponized in some form.

As for why it was so explosive this time...Maybe it's not supposed to happen that fast? Thorax's wings changed first, so maybe they naturally evolve slower than this and less explosively. They just all tried to force it quickly and that's why it happened.

Though, the image of Changeling's having to duck and cover every time one of them have to evolve is kind of funny, I imagine they'd have to repair their hive a lot in that case.

I'm going to be watching the finale specifically to know if a certain someone voiced two specific characters. If she did then I can salvage what remains of a theory I've been thinking about.

A lot of people that reacted to the episode online were glad it didn't have a song, what do you guys think?

Disappointed a bit, but not quite sure where it would have fit in, so I understand it.

I'm not sure why people would be glad though? Guess they don't like the songs. :(

I guess, not really sure, I just watched some videos fans did reviewing the episode and some of them said "Yay no song!!".

Which someone is that? Rarity and Luna's voice actor, Tabitha St. Germain? Rainbow and Applejack's voice actor, Ashleigh Ball? Or Andrea Libman, Pinkie and Fluttershy's voice actor?

I think this is the first season finale to not feature a song. Considering what was going on, I don't think they had enough time to include one otherwise something else would've been cut to make room for it.

None of the above. It's Rebecca Shoichet, the voice behind Sunset and Twilight's singing voice. I want to know if she voiced Sugar Belle and Night Glider in Part One.

Yeah, there was so much stuff squeezed in, there was no room for the song anyway.

Ah, you missed the end credits for Part 1 of To Where and Back Again then?

The credits were there but scrunched up into a corner to make room for a commercial of another program. That's what happened when the finale was aired on that U.K. channel, Tinypop.

Correct. I'm fairly certain it was her voice and if I am correct, then my theory will still make sense.

Alright then, I wish you good luck with finding out who did Sugar Belle and Night Glider's voices.
