Standard blu ray dvd releases occur 6-8 weeks after it exits the theaters.

They definitely will. If the Equestria Girls movies got Blu Ray and DVD releases, there is no way that the big FiM movie will not get a release for this.

Danny Ingram and William Anderson are gonna have their magnum opus for this movie's score. If they can surpass the music fom RR I will be blown away. I am hoping the movie has deep orchestral pieces.

Oh, probably about 2 months or so. 2 months at minimum is my bet.

Pretty sure around February/March 2018 in the US. April 2018 in Australia as childrens movies in Australia are not in cinemas until the school holiday perioda.

I'm sure that the MLP movie will be released worldwide on Blu-Ray some months after the original release date. Even if here in Australia everything pony related seems to be only released to DVD.

I would find it funny if only the EQG movies got Blu Rays, while the 2017 film only got a DVD release.

But I don't see that happening.

Of course they will. I myself am a bit torn as I only like to buy blu rays but I own the EQG movies and te MLP seasons on DVD. So I'm not sure if I should get it on DVD or not.

Blu-ray and DVD sales helps add a new source of income to the movie. If they didn't release this on a DVD/Blu-ray, Hasbro is doing it wrong.
