Will Trump make America great again?

This has pissed me off. They're grown men who are the PRESIDENT and VICE PRESIDENT. Grow up. They're acting like teenage girls who got called fat on Tumblr. They weren't even "rude" they just said they hope they've inspired him :|

No, the people who insulted Trump should apologize asap. All praise the great and powerful (and sexy) leader.

Honestly, I just don't care, having to deal with Pence as my state's governor since 2012. Ugh.

Pence is actually one of the least popular governors in the US. I wish Trump could have picked someone else, like Kasich. He makes Indiana look embarrassing.

I hate to say it, considering how I identify on the left, but...

I want Mitch Daniels back as the governor.

Spoiler alert.

YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO HATE PENCE.

That's why Trump got the religious nut on board.

If Trump becomes president, and is then impeached over a technicality or "Because we wanna", guess who becomes president? Pence. Higher-ups only give lip service to hating Trump, they want power, but they know President Trump will be better than President Pence.

Pence is the dense weight Trump is using to keep that particular door closed. Not evidence that because he knows how to use dense weights, he is dense.

It's hard enough to say this without swearing, but explaining this simple concept without seeming too mean is really hard for me. Still, I'm trying. Now, please, try. Try to understand things instead of calling them scary and confusing and waiting for CNN to tell you what to think and feel. Literally anyone (well, people with tech) can learn the truth these days.

A grown manchild throwing a temper tantrum/a good actor pretending to be a grown manchild throwing a temper tantrum. What an insightful and convincing argument. Truly, with this clip of Nostalgia Critic that could have easily been a REACTION GIF INSTEAD, you've proven that you don't need citations and it's unfair for me to expect your group to back up your claims with reason, evidence, and citations. /s

Honestly, even though I do stand left on many causes, I just say: give him a chance.

If you want to protest him, sure, go ahead, don't get violent. If you wanna get rid of the electoral college, nothing's stopping you from trying. I just think we should see what he does, since no candidate can ever really deliver on every single promise they make nowadays imo.

You know what's funny about the Electoral College? It's part of a fair democracy. I'd say it's funny how the left insist being fair is unfair once things aren't in their favor, but after all that "We need a SECOND EU referendum! AND IF LEAVE DOESN'T GET 60/75%, WE REMAINERS WIN BY DEFAULT! Sure, that's fair!" garbage, the joke's gotten real old.

Dude. A man went to the theatre to watch Hamilton, and they paused the play to attack the man and call him "waycis". I think they're allowed to be mad over that. I bet the others in the theatre who wanted to escape election drama and watch an old play are mad, too.

They didn't stop the play, it was already over when they addressed him.

“Hamilton,” the hit Broadway musical about colonial rebels shaping the future of an unformed country, took an even more political turn at the end of its performance on Friday night.

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/19/us/mike-pence-hamilton.html

Granted he (Pence) was booed at times when the audience realized he was there, but it's not like the show stopped mid-way to call him out. But he was given the open message at the end of the show before Pence ducked out ahead of the crowds.

Never said I was anti-electoral college. I was simply saying if someone is, they're free to try if they want, even if it doesn't get anywhere or not.

I'm pro-Trump, I just don't like to say it because some of my friends are so pro-Hillary, I've already pissed them off quite a bit already by simply just saying I am.

I'm a slight conservative and I liked Trump over Hillary, but Pence isn't even popular within his own party, either. Trump did say the reason he picked Pence for VP was because of "party unity", but if that was the case he should have went for more popular Republicans and not Pence. Having a bad VP does protect you from being removed from office, but Pence is also going to be a liability to Trump. The reputations of the VP and president are still important. If Pence screws up, Trump would be pulled down with it.

And he could have gone for other options, such as Kasich, who is fairly popular in his state, or even Ben Carson to get a little bit of that African American support. A female VP would be fine, too. But as far as I know, Pence is getting Trump some bad coverage simply because he's next around him.

The people going "Trump is horrible because he's pals with Pence!" are the people that would yell "Trump is Hitler because Trump ate sugar and Hitler Ate Sugar!" on a slow fake-news day.

The smart people that understand why such an odd move was made can appreciate the thought behind it and how good this guy is at four-dimensional chess.

Answer my question, cause I feel like winning.

Why does the owner and biggest shareholder of NY Times a long-time friend of the Clintons? Why does he regularly donate to the tax evasion scam that is the Clinton Foundation? Do you see the connection and conflict of interest here, or is it just me and everyone who voted for Trump?

I'd be called a racist (and likely banned) if I brought up the whole "Saudi billionaire" thing or what happened to Twitter or made you confront the fact that bad things happen to gay people in saudi arabia, so let's focus on those three very big questions for now.

NBC is a broadcast network, instead of a cable/satellite network in the United States. Their anchors seem to be particularly nasty towards Trump supporters, worse than CNN imo.

Yeah, I've heard a lot of names for CNN. Never heard that one though.

Don't forget, the Clintons took donations from Middle East countries that throw gays off rooftops.

And people are treating Mike Pence like he could do just that to gays as well.

realistically no

as i pointed out in another thread the election was too close to for Emperor Trump to pass any laws or bills they will be blocked in the senate

at most he'll probably improve the economy (i think its idiotic when people say he will bankrupt the nation since A you are already bankrupt and B he's a billionaire its the one thing he would be good at) and improve US-Russo relations that's about it

You're really grasping at straws over this, because it's reported all over elsewhere.

After the show, a cast member thanked Mr Pence for attending and read a letter to him on stage.

"We, sir, are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us," Brandon Dixon said.

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-38036872

At the end of the performance, one of the stars of the show, Brandon Victor Dixon, who plays Aaron Burr, took to the stage and addressed the vice president-elect, "We hope you will hear us out."

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/mike-pence-wasnt-offended-hamilton-casts-statement/story?id=43669984

During the curtain call, one of the cast members to make comments about human rights and quality rights.

https://video.foxnews.com/v/5217685492001/?#sp=show-clips

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cL2shuqKF3s

But you know: if you just want to hide behind a curtain of "all news is fake news because it doesn't agree with me" then so be it. But know you're not worth the time and effort beyond this.

But the point stands that the show wasn't stopped mid-way to deliver it but at the end. And all you've been doing is standing on Tweets and the fake news.

Yeah, I heard that, and frankly, that was good of them to not go full-on nasty about it (like not taking it back and saying something like "f*** trump" or whatever the protesting people are yelling now), and I thank them for that. I just think that the news does report some falsehoods sometimes.

Republicans have a majority in the senate and the house, and there are many Dems who still care about the plight of the working class. Also, do not underestimate Trump's mastery of negotiation and persuasion. He may have to moderate on some things, but I'm confident that he will be able to get positive legislation passed.

Never bet against Donald Trump. Washington D.C. and the MSM did, and look where we are now.

Indeed. Allow me to also provide an example of what President Trump brings to the table.

Before this whole Hamilton debacle, I couldn't go a day without hearing the fear mongering about Mike Pence and his past support of conversion therapy. Pence went to the play, and had the speech delivered to him. He politely listened, and then left the theater.

Trump tweeted about it and made himself out to look butthurt. Meanwhile, Pence responded with a warm smile and said that he would work to do exactly what the actor said.

Today, the media coverage was that Pence was calm and rational, while Trump was butthurt. The media has been calling Trump butthurt for the past 18 months. Nothing new.  Now I ask you. Which narrative would be more likely to calm fearful LGBT and liberals across the country?

Mike Pence wants to have you electrocuted, or Mike Pence promises to work on behalf of all Americans?

One might dismiss this as a coincidence, but Trump does this shit all the time. It's accurate to say that in the primaries, Trump brought a flamethrower to a stick fight. And now he's bringing that flamethrower to Washington.

I partially like Trump for what he does to make America great again. The fact that Trump won the election is he won the Electoral College (which means 270 out of 538 electoral votes is necessary and required to win the election) rather than winning the popular vote.

However why some of you disagree about Trump? I guess that his choice is to resign from office during his presidential term like Nixon in 1974 in wake of Watergate, or 4 years later until the 2020 election we'll vote for Bernie Sanders (if he became a democratic nominee than Hillary Clinton) rather than Trump.

Not sure if he will make Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Chile and the rest of North and South America great again. I think his slogan tells a lot about him and his plans. And it's not going to be for everyone.

I mean this guy is saying people born in the U.S. are not U.S. citizens... then who is a U.S. citizen? Doesn't this bring alarm to anyone? Are the only real U.S. citizens made in a test tube or something? That's the only way of people coming into existence in a nation...

He says anchor babies are not citizens and should be deported. Yet he is an anchor baby himself! Maybe he should deport himself back to Germany.
