It just didn't settle well with me that she has a rainbow mane and tail because rainbow colors is a bit too much for the eyes. EDIT: Gaudy was the word I was looking for. That would be pure confusion! but...if I had to change a pony's color I'll be Applejack because of her name and what she do in relation to apples. It's always red, or with sour apples, green. If anyone in the Apple family should be orange, it's Granny Smith. She's the one with the pie cutie mark, so orange can be better associated with the crust used to make it. Applejack would look more appealing with Big Mac's colors. 1 No questions asked. While I actually like their character designs, they would have looked a lot better if they were given the more detailed figures that the deleted animatics of Friendship Games reveled.
