Johnny1226 14,674 January 24, 2017 Share January 24, 2017 I would stay in equestria and tell celestia to end my human body as that life had passed already and I would have no further use for it

Mast. Equestos/Gigas 340 January 24, 2017 Share January 24, 2017 I'll probably wait until World War III is over then return to the human world. You'll need a full bio-hazard suit and gas mask. Just in case if there is any radiation levels or the sky is still red. That or zombies would be roaming around. Come to think of it.. *Grabs gattleing gun and rpgs* Now I am prepared. Widdershins 9,959 January 24, 2017 Share January 24, 2017 What I think most of the posters here are missing out on, is that its not a question of equality or magical powers in one or the other. You can just as likely get pelted by a car while in Equestria. Well... you know what I mean. Both sides are equally emotionally invested. You are as much human as pony, and as much pony as human. It comes down to recapturing good times of old as opposed to happiness already attained. I have to say that I'm going selfish on this one. What is Past has already occurred, reliving what once was can only risk turmoil. Being dropped in a story you once lived is just as traumatizing as suddenly teleporting to another world or a time thousands of years in the future. One lives for the present, the happiness that is eternally fleeting. I guess...what I'm trying to say...Is that you can't recreate the past, but there will always be more of Now. Would it be selfish... if I asked Celestia to erase my memory of this dilemma? Oh...dear...my...sweet mercy... I just... wow, that hit my heart in a way I didn't know I could feel. If you ever see this again... I thank you so very much. That is... yeah, this isn't a decision one wants to live with knowing you've made. 1 Beatings & Salivations Everybeing! Creativity is something blatantly important to me as is no doubt evidenced by the 28 OCs I have posted here of the some forty plus I have, they're linked altogether at the bottom of my About Me page in my Profile & I would deeply cherish anything you wish to say about them! Among which of those I am proudest most of is my Draconequusona, His/My Ask Thread and my Hydra, Gallimaufry or "Mauf" and their own Ask Thread! Either way, sufficed to say, I am quite confident I have more OCs than you! Crazier to! Do You have a tatzelpony?! No, I rather think you don't! Hew-Hew-hew! This is a beautiful post! well said! However, I wonder why you think it is selfish to stay in equestria, unless you have human kids or something. Widdershins 9,959 January 24, 2017 Share January 24, 2017 @@trademark2, Well, One can often say that taking the more immediate rewards is usually more short-sighted, but as I said, perhaps working with what one already has and remaining loyal is better than a promise to go back to what once was. 1 Beatings & Salivations Everybeing! AlbaTross 1,586 January 24, 2017 Share January 24, 2017 For this scenario I'm going to lay it out like this: 5 years ago you had a family with kids, friends, a great life but were hit by a car the next thing you know your a pony in Equestria(Your choice of specie). Since then you've met a wonderful mare/stallion, had a set of two foals, and live a rich and fulfilling life as an Equestrian pony. The catch? You've suddenly found out that your human self is alive and in a coma back in your past life and you've been given a choice by Celestia herself to send you back to your family, friends, and the life you had before but once you do so you can NEVER and come back and no pony can come with. Celestia has given you a day to decide and to set your affairs in order if you wish to go back. What do you do? Hi, as this thread is about a hypothetical scenario as opposed to the show itself, it has been moved to Sugarcube Corner.
This thread appears to be related to the My Little Pony franchise and/or the Bronydom in general. Thus, it has been sentenced to Sugarcube Corner.
Whirlwind 1,055 January 25, 2017 Share January 25, 2017 Well at this rate in life, I'd wish to be a pony forever in Equestria. Rather breathe into something new and go out with the old "There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends"
trademark2 485 January 25, 2017 Share January 25, 2017 I wonder how the answers would be different if you were just physically teleported instead of your other body being in a Coma Feel free to message or add me everypony!
Azatrot 66 January 25, 2017 Share January 25, 2017 I find this to be a rather interesting spin on the standard "would you go to Equestria" question. Both answers mean that you have to abandon a family, so it's a really difficult question. I would probably choose to stay in Equestria. However not because it is a magical land with talking horses (That would be a bonus, but I find it to be a rather shallow reason to abandon your family). My family on Earth would probably already had found a way to cope with me being gone (even if I'm not dead, but in a coma), so the emotional impact of me abandoning them wouldn't be as severe for them (or me) as if I abandoned my new family. Fluttershyponygal 83 January 25, 2017 Author Share January 25, 2017 (edited) I find this to be a rather interesting spin on the standard "would you go to Equestria" question. Both answers mean that you have to abandon a family, so it's a really difficult question. Which is exactly why I asked it. Too many times have we seen the standard "would you go to equestria" scenario with little to no consequence. By putting them in this situation, I force people to question not only their morality but also themselves as a person. And the answers so far with the exception of a few.... have been really interesting to read! This thread appears to be related to the My Little Pony franchise and/or the Bronydom in general. Thus, it has been sentenced to Sugarcube Corner. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO- Wait....how is this a bad thing again? Snow Frostflame 3,568 March 4, 2017 Share March 4, 2017 As I said before... I think... anyways, I'm willing to give up everything I own to live in Equestria... the only thing that would ever keep me in humanland is if my YouTube career takes off... Though the hardest thing to answer in this scenario is not where I wanna live, but which family do I wanna abandon... which child do I wanna leave fatherless.... and because of that... I don't think I could answer this question. A child should never have to experience the pain of losing their parent early on in life.... Its a hard decision... but I'm gonna have to say return to my human life... only because I could shrug off this Equestrian stuff as just a coma dream. Xoruxshy 0 March 9, 2017 Share March 9, 2017 Don't have a choice, Equestria is a must. I'm suffering from exposure to magic radiation coming from the mane six. DJ Wolfe 5,334 March 9, 2017 Share March 9, 2017 I am quite curious of what being in the lifestyle among ponies will be like. Tempting but a really tough choice.
Rikifive 24,126 March 9, 2017 Share March 9, 2017 It may sound weird, but I had almost exactly the same scenario in my head a long time ago (was also thinking about making a game about this). I mean ~ Having an accident and Going to Equestria while being in coma ~ in hospital. After some time when your human body is regaining consciousness, you need to decide if you want to go back to human world or stay in Equestria (The 'light' in the common sentence: "Don't go towards the light!"). That decision would also be affected by your relations between other ponies. For example, you couldn't stay in Equestria if you were extremely rude and problematic all the time. *pfft* sorry, getting back to topic.A whole day to decide? I'd just need a second - If my life as an Equestrian pony would be as successful as you've described, then I'd totally stay in Equestria.Anyway, it's actually silly, but I'd love to live in such a colorful world, instead of our dark one.I'd love to fly and just enjoy the day ~ see the world blooming with bright colors... I'd be able to feel like a little kid once again... Politics? Government? These are nothing else, but a gigantic joke in our world (no offense) ~ I'd totally prefer respecting and following Princesses, that actually care about the others instead. Villains in Equestria? Sure that's a thing to consider, but humanity itself isn't any better. Murders, wars? I don't think I need to say more. Also referring to this: (...) Since then you've met a wonderful mare/stallion, had a set of two foals, and live a rich and fulfilling life as an Equestrian pony. No matter what I'd choose, it would make 'one of my families' suffer, so... that itself would be a difficult choice, but after those 5 years I think I'd stick to my current family (ponified one, that is). I'd be not even sure if after those 5 years my previous family would be doing okay. What if they've meet the same fate? :-P So, as silly as it sounds, I'd gladly stay in Equestria. 1 Playing Genshin Impact?
