well, my dream team would be;

 

Vocals: Bon Scott (Or Robert Plant, can't decide)

Drummer: Phil Collins

Guitar: Jimmy Page

Bass: Steve Dawson

Lead guitar: David Gilmour

 

Though I've already broken the rules because Bon Scott is dead. And this is hardly a heavy metal line-up, more hard rock. Suppose the only person that qualifies as "heavy metal" is Steve Dawson.
