Moments/Episodes that are cringy/harsh in hindsight?

The cringe has worn off since then, but when it first happened i found any appearance of the Golden Oaks library in previous episodes after Twilight's Kingdom to be extremely awkward and uncomfortable.

The whole Rainbow Dash impersonating her friends in Newbie Dash was the most cringe inducing moment I can remember out of FIM, even with Spike singing the Cloudsdale Anthem in Equestria Games, still existing.

This is only things that are cringy in HINDSIGHT not things meant to be cringy.

Mount me on a crucifix, but I was severely let down in the climax of Dragonshy. Way before I became a Brony, I kept hearing nothing but praise for this episode, and more than a few people told me it felt like watching The Lord of the Rings.

Welp, going in as a Lord of the Rings fan with such vigorous anticipation left me... unimpressed. It wasn't cringeworthy (honestly, I hate that word. It's overused and applied to nearly everything), but I felt like facepalming the first time I watched that episode.

What I see as cringe worthy is how the CMC behaved during the events of Twilight Time. They used their connection with Twilight in order to score some brownie points with Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon while their other friends looked on.

Recalling some of the early episodes seemed a little odd now due to the fact that our main characters had moved on in both character and goals. Rainbow Dash always talks about becoming a Wonderbolt and her dream is now finally fullfiled. The CMCs have their Cutie Marks now after all of their attempts but it's kind of funny to look back and see them without it. Of course, Twilight and her role as princess is welcoming but it just seemed like yesterday that she was just moving into Ponyville on her first day.

It's instead the feeling of nostalgia for me because everything feels so different now but to see how this show and it's characters has progressed and changed over time may conjure funny feelings as you relook into it.

not cringy but i found annoying that the first (i think) CMC song (that 80s glam rock one) lasted THAT long.

it was made on prupose their bad singing, but still.

i loved the instrumental beats, i wish there was a version sung well

It's uncomfortable for me to see Tank anymore because of Tanks For The Memories.

I heard Scootaloo's VA was so much of a good singer (which she is) that she had a hard time attempting to sound bad. Actually, she doesn't sound that bad to me, I quite like the song.

Yeah, it never felt like Lord of the Rings to me.  There is a musical riff that is likely meant to be a parody of that in the episode, but there isn't enough walking and dropping a ring into a volcano for it to be Lord of the Rings.

I wasn't let down by the episode or anything.  I just didn't think it was like Lord of the Rings.

People are missing the word HINDSIGHT.

In HINDSIGHT, probably not a good idea to include that word in the title, especially since most cringe moments in the series are still cringe moments.

An example for me is Fluttershy reaming out Rarity and Pinkie Pie in Putting Your Hoof Down.  It's still as much of a cringe moment as it was the first time we saw it.

The Mysterious Mare Do Well somehow manages to be worse looking back at it, mainly as to how the show treats other characters acting out. This episode completely goes out of it's way to completely shit on Rainbow Dash for having a big head, yet just one episode later, there's an entire episode completely dedicated to Rarity lying for her own personal gain and ditching Twilight's birthday(and half-assing Twi's dress in the process), all complete with a fucking song about her wanting to be popular, and in the end, not only does she get away with it, but is rewarded for it. And then there's SSCS6K where the Apple Family gets too cocky with their cider and their ability to make it quicker than the Flim Flam Bros. they end up losing everything, and only out of luck of FF telling quality control to piss off, do they luck out and actually get to keep their farm, but the kicker is AJ's whole "I didn't learn anything", which probably would sound funnier if the Apple Family's cockiness didn't nearly cost them their farm. All of this happening within the same season just comes off as really shitty double standard against RD

The fact that they had the audacity to pull this shit two more times in S6 is absolutely infuriating and...
