Who are apple jacks parents

Does anyone have some ideas to who are apple jacks parents I mean twilights parents got turned into plants but who are apple jacks parents?

They show up normally in a few episodes.

As for Applejack's parents, they haven't appeared yet, not even in a flashback. Supposedly they died when their children were still very young.

There WAS going to be an episode focused on them this sunday, but apparently, Treehouse network will air the beginning of the season again

But before that, I guess we just have to wait until episode 13 airs in America.

The interesting thing is, that was never actually confirmed. Lauren Faust explained that she liked the idea of them living with Granny, but wanted to keep the family dynamic tight and small. As for where the parents were *in-universe*, she said she would've "simply" liked to say they were dead (the "simply" hints that was just because that would be the easiest and most straightforward way to explain their absence), but that it would've most likely been deemed too dark for a kids' show - So instead, she and the others discussed making them traveling salesponies or explorers instead. She went on to say that where they are hasn't been defined until they appear in an episode.

I thought she was abandoned, which is why there hasn't been a mention, or even a picture of them during the entire show. Now that would be an interesting subject

It's been quite a while since I was active after the spike and changling  episode it sparked my interest in the series 

Yep it would be interesting if applejack was abondond and we have seen all of her family except her parents 

I wonder if they sell some kind of apples maybe the cider

They were mentioned. In a pretty positive light too.

Plants? That was a one moment thing seen during TCMC. They were changed back. You see then several times after, and they make an appearance at the end of The Crystalling ... Twi's mom even talks.

I'm assuming Applejack's parents are characters we've never seen before.
