Okay, let's break it down, to make it easier to digest in smaller bites, shall we?

The explanation should be right next to the race - that way, clear the confusion up quickly.

Okay - now what KIND of home does he have?  Is it a conveniently-placed cave?  A tent?  A full-blown house?  A treehouse maybe, due to the avian part of him?

Nice talent.

The 'not having a cutie mark' thing works as-is; only ponies get those (though zebras apparently get tattoos in the same spot).

*chuckle* I actually have Aspergers' myself, so I can dig it.  Of course, this does add in difficulty with his Talent; if he has issues communicating, it might be exceedingly tricky to do.  Not that there aren't ways to work with that.

Hmmmmm... how about a mask or costume he wears when he "performs"?  Many Aspies can actually do VERY well when their identities are covered; it bolsters confidence when you feel like folks can't see you AS yourself (even if they know who's under the mask).  Or perhaps he makes others laugh through writing funny poems, songs or stories?

There are ways to make it work - you just have to be open-minded about how to incorporate them.

Likes and Dislikes should have at least cursory passing reasons for being as they are: The likes are a tad generic... but that's not exactly a bad thing.  It could possibly mean that he doesn't exactly need complex fun - the simple pleasures are often the best ones.

As for those dislikes, well... what happened to him to CAUSE those dislikes?  Who lied to him?  How was he betrayed?  What bully hurt someone he cared about?  Who talked down to him in his life?

These are details you can put into his background, as you come up with it.

Neat and organized, eh?  Was he the one who kept all his possessions in EXACT order, like Twilight would, when he was young?  Did he get teased for it, or was it seen as efficient?

TRIES to be a great friend?  I like how you worded that - after all, Aspergers' can certainly strain friendships.  Maybe he really DOES try to do his best... but his chronic shyness and habit of saying the wrong things might make that a true feat to even KEEP a friend...

Again, that talent; make sure to refine HOW he makes them laugh, so you can give an idea of how he DOES interact with others.

Trouble listening might just be trouble keeping focused/comprehending; it's a direct sign of Aspergers', and it works well with the rest... just make sure to remember to ROLEPLAY that weakness.  Purposely misconstrue what others say, or perhaps mishear a word or two on occasion.  Sometimes, it's fun being difficult - just be careful to do so judiciously, as a character who does that ALL THE TIME can get rather annoying to other RPers.

Can't spell?  So, illiterate or Dyslexic?  Either one can make for a good story, if used correctly.

Taking things too seriously (to heart) might be better written as "gets overwhelmed by emotions sometimes", which is yet ANOTHER hallmark of being an Aspie.

Introverted sort of implies he stays inside a lot; you'd technically only need to say one or the other, not both.

Blames himself for almost everything?  Okay, THAT needs to have a strong reason as to why; did his parents blame him for a lot of things that happened to him?  Did somebody else start blaming him for things?  Did something happen that truly WAS his fault, and now he can't forgive himself for it, so he tends to take fault where ther is none?  Something like that REALLY needs a good reason, as folks don't just do that to themselves for no good reason.

Hopefully, you'll be able to pick up a thing or two from the above, and you should be able to work out a 'skeleton' of a background; once you have something to start with, feel free to put it on this thread.

Thank you for your time.  *bows*
