Um...okay...I see your point....but still...there are much less different coloration in our world then in Equestria, so it's rarer. Officially, they are different, and here are their official colors: Coats: Vinyl's is a Yellowish White, while Shining's is a Turquoisish White. Vinyl may look more similar to Shining than she really is. The only scenes she's appeared in we're at night/dark, so her mane color is slightly distorted to match the ambient lighting. In a brighter setting (in a graphic on one of the show's official online games), you can see that her coat as somewhat of a yellowish tone to it. In Shining Armor's case, it's a more perfect shade of white in all situations, and not as distorted at night. Manes: Very similar in hues and highlights, but for starters, Shining has two different shades of blue- Moderate sapphire blue, Moderate cerulean, and dark Dark phthalo blue; while Vinyl only has two- Moderate colbalt blue, and Brilliant cyan. Well, that's all I know, color sheme wise, but relationship wise, I doubt it. Sorry I got all thechincal there. 1 My journey in the fandom started on April 5, 2012. I joined here on April 24, 2012.
