If this was just a debate of Pancakes vs. Waffles, I would totally go for waffles, but you put french toast into the mix. To me, french toast is godlike. Add some powdered sugar and it gets even better. Going with that. Sorry waffles, you are still awesome in my book.

Pancakes have a terrible consistency and coat the roof of your mouth, adding syrup does not help. Waffles are okay, but I'd still prefer French Toast.

Waffles, please. They have all those nifty little squares that hold the syrup in place all nice and tidy. I like French Toast but...no square thingies. Sorry.

Pancakes are my favorite. I love drenching the pancakes with maple syrup, and then reheating it again to make the syrup really hot.
