Spoilers regarding the premiere, The Collector:

 

To no one's surprise, Adrien's father is indeed Hawk Moth.

 

That being said, this is probably his best episode yet -- as part of a nifty Xanatos Gambit to escape suspicion, he actually Akumatizes himself this time (and his run as "The Collector" is pretty sick, too).

I am not really sure just how successful Hawk Moth's plan ended up being.

Given how Marinette asked Agreste about the book and why he would have it in his position after the whole Collector incident was over, I think that while this whole false flag operation might not have gone fully according to plan.  I think Marinette is still considering him being Hawk Moth, and that Agreste isn't out of hot water with his secret identity just yet.

But overall this was a pretty good episode and a nice way to start the season.

Nope, the first 6-7 episodes are already out, though only the first 3 have been dubbed so far.
