Alright we can take care of these lasers in one of two ways. 

1) Every character deals with their specific turret. It would require everyone to post and they each can take them out in their own way. Unfortunately that doesn't sound particularly wacky. I can pretty much see how they'll be disabled for each character quite easily. 

2) Star turns the laser turrets into something adorable/does some spell to knock them all out and renders their effectiveness totally useless, ruining the guys experiment. UNFORTUNATELY, that would be a major case of power playing if I did that without notifying everyone. It would also rob opportunities to shine that the former one would allow for comedic effect. She's not the only one who could take them out lickity split, but she'll be the flashiest about it. 

 

Personally I vote the latter, cause the whole danger room shtick doesn't really work when it's only a few laser turrets. We'll be able to move on to the next one and make the overseer disgruntled. 

So I'll leave it to a vote and I'll post based on that, if you're cool with a power play moving this along then I'll do that, and if you want the opportunity to shine I'll go with another idea I have in mind.

I was under the impression that the "tests" would take place in other dimensions/places. 

If ya leave it confined to a singular room there is only so much peeps are going to be able to do. Stars powers in particular leaves things behind like animals and what not. 

The next "test" should definitely be something that couldn't be whisked away by a simple wand trick. It would also give other players a chance to really flex their powers.

everything is going to get moved along to different settings, and I know that the current area is rather bland, I tried to create I kind of tutorial area in a way, so that all the characters have to get to know each other. Also this bit won't be particularly long anyway, there's going to be one more "test" then stuff's gonna become a lot more open.

So this is the test of my little privacy system, cause what's more fun then setting you against eachother?

For you Denim since I don't think you were in when I suggested this, basically in order to create a sense of genuine surprise and to create a sense of trust in everyone I will sometimes PM people secret RP bits that is meant only for their character, that way if they wanted to they could turn on everyone else and kill them all!... or not, it's then that persons decision whether they share that information with everyone else or not.

Actually, his suit does not have filtering. Only these "oxygen compressors" that will purify the already usable air into the equivalent of medical oxygen given in hospitals, so it's actually even worse. This feature is for oxygenating his cells during intense pressure so he won't tire out until his muscles tear. Remember, AMRTEK does not have its personnel's safety as a #1 priority.

Ah, I've had a few pretty severe issues with my personal life, related to the problem I gave as an excuse earlier @Lektra Bolt and to top it all off my country turned 100 years today, (Or yesterday to me, since it's 1:31 am. at the time of writing) meaning that I've been quite busy doing all eh, party stuff. That's what we do at this age right, party like animals and make dumb mistakes all the while? 

On topic, I have almost written a reply for this rp and it should be done soon so don't worry about that!

Sounds like a plan. Also a prompt I could work with on your part could help. While there is a lot to "respond" too, there isn't a lot to work with. It would essentially just be a slew of reaction shots from my characters and not much else. Having something I can interact with could be a boon for when we get back to it.

Alrighty! One thing y'all should now about the character, (I mentioned it in he joining form but better remind so you can expect it) that he is the expert on the subject of stupid and unnecessarily radical decisions and I think he might display it here.
