if its ok i have a idea 

you said that celestial and luna are still in ponyville/new ever free city and that they are accepting of other pony, so i think that celstia and luna should creat like a beacon for  refugee pony so flock to but the problem is that the nanite master are drawn in by the light. so i think the sort should follow 2 pony trying  to get to ponyville with only the light of the beacon to guide them and there preparing to fight the horrid of monsters that surround that walls of ponyville because of the beacon

That certainly sounds like an interesting idea for an RP. We're still deciding some of the specific one's we wish to pursue, and I actually kind of like the horde survival mode of it all XD Perhaps the light is more than merely a literal beacon, and some sort of magical one as well? That way it could be used further than the naked eye could see, well across the land. Sort of a mental pull or message? That's if it happened during the events of our current world. If that were the case, it would pull just about ALL the infected towards the city across the continent... if it infected them (which it will).

Also, for our casual RP, perhaps a Black Shell Emissary shows up out of nowhere to speak with some sort of representative of New Everfree? That would certainly grab Lektra's attention, right? Maybe like the guy in the upper left of this sketch perhaps, except with leg holes that the creator forgot to put in their terrible sketch?

this might me a stretch but maybe the 2 ponies are a battle harden Applejack and a teenage Applebloom and there look for any survivor of the apple family

@woodchunks66 Hmm, well, in the current era things are mostly stable for the main six. Perhaps this is something that could take place early on in the timeline of events? Though I'm not entirely sure. If it were to happen in the current setting, the Apple's are mostly safe within New Everfree.

Oh yah, guess we haven't really decided on a time... well, I'd prefer we have everything take place roughly a hundred years minimum into the future (100 after the plague). Since we need time for a population boom, city expansion, and tech explosion and all...

Spike is still kicking, probably still hanging around Twilight I imagine.

Oh oh! Idea: If you'd like to take control of the Apples... 

Perhaps you'd like to run their farm? I'm not sure how New Everfree is set up exactly, but if I'm not mistaken, the farm is located within the walls. Regardless of expansion, space is still a commodity, so would the farm be more of a hydroponics set up over multiple levels of greenhouse? Might not sound AJ approved...

So apple acres is the only source hu? I take it there are uhm, branches, so to speak? As for flutters, I think we concluded she's currently deep within the original everfree trying to figure out why it keeps expanding or something along those lines. Don't worry, whatever happens, the main six will live on for the duration of our world.

alright that seems to be in order, so about this beacon..... it should be created by luna and celestial and maybe Cadence too if she's not someplace else with flurry and shining, so should it be like a bug zapper or a call to arms?

Hmm, Cadence and Flurry are... missing up in the north I'm afraid. The crystal city seems to be lost, in the literal sense. At least that's my conclusion on it, unless anyone else would like them elsewhere. Otherwise, I leave the specifics of the beacon up to the city manager.

Yes on all accounts! I liked that idea, whoever pitched it earlier. Perhaps like a fallout bunker type deal going on or suspended animation. We can explore that as a mystery later perhaps.

Appleoosa is too far north for the Remnants. At most, they're an abandoned city with some settlements within and around. At least right now.
