I'm paul, using an old name I have since the beginning of my time on the internet in '99 (I was 16) My story with the show starts way back in the year of 2013. I am a subway fanatic and the girlfriend of one of the employees there was a fan of the show. She stole a coloring book from the nearby target (they were both like ~20 at the time). I was like "you like my little pony?". She was like "it's an awesome show". Not knowing there was a new one and remembering only what I knew of it from the late 80s and almost nothing from the 90s, I didn't really care. Fast forward a few days I turned off the tv at night on adult swim east. Woke up around 10 and next channel up was...discovery family. Playing "a canterlot wedding". Not the show I didn't remember from my childhood. Aaaaaaand a brony was born Netflixed' the show and binge watched it to s3 (was 2013, all they had). Tried to get my mother to watch it. She remembered the 80s version and she didn't like it. She does watch cartoons and disney anims, only if they make a point or teach a lesson. I told her these are new, and they do. Reluctantly she watched e1s1. She liked it. Story kept getting better. She pointed out references to musicals that I never got because, well, I don't like musicals...apparently unless they star ponys. We watched 3-4 episodes a night, up now to s7 Really I came here because I needed a phone case made with art from MontagnaMagica on redbubble. He wasn't replying to my bubblemail so I tracked his name here. He was kind enough to make the changes I requested and I got an awesome galaxy s8+ tough case. I literally just made it as a bumper sticker for myself, and asked if I could keep the design up afterwards. I wouldn't call myself an "artist", unless you count my photography (buy my posters! ) Haha! Enough about that. Welcome, Paul! My grandparents lived in north Texas, so I would go there every year. I have many fond memories of the times spent there. If my career in the amusement park industry ever takes me to Texas, I'd be thrilled to move (but I still love Arizona, of course). I noticed you've already made posts here. That Sweetie Drops theory is pretty cute. And actually pretty believable! See you around.
