First OC Sketch

[Sparky Hoof 78]

I just finished the sketch on my OC, Sparky Hoof. It took me a long time since I suck at drawing, but it definitely came out nicer then I expected. Now it's time to spend months trying to get the coloring right and hating it in the end thinking that the sketch looked better.

The Sistine Chapel wasn't paint overnight. You can draw well enough to call yourself an artist. Don't start thinking like one or you'll only be miserable. Keep up the good work.

You've drawn this very well. Now all you need to do is improve the clarity of the image.

There are a couple different ways to go about this.

1.) Thicken the outlines where it counts. For this, you will want to have your pencils nice and sharp.

2.) Ink it over digitally. There are a variety of free programs you can use to make digital inkings, even with just a mouse. I recommend either FireAlpaca or Inkscape.
