Camping gear test – old new potatoes (by which I mean, new potatoes a couple of weeks old) boiled in the billy can on the Trangia stove, half of a pork pie, with salad – lettuce,  tomato, diced raw onion, a raw sliced mushroom, grated raw carrot, diced red pepper, cucumber, tossed in olive oil with Himalayan pink salt & black pepper, added mayonnaise, drink was white wine.....

Holy crap that was good, I needed that :sealed:

This morning, a bagel with chive and onion cream cheese

Currently, chicken nuggets, chips and Goldfish Crackers, using the above mentioned cream cheese as a dip substitute20240511_123331.thumb.jpg.fe32b8a9446d252ef3bba63f9ff8ef0e.jpg

My mothers day tradition of home made waffles.

This time made with brown sugar, butterscotch chips, cinnamon, and apple sauce. Topped with buttserscotch pecan syrup and apple butter.

Cheddar cheese & salad sandwich, wholemeal bread, margerine spread, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, grated carrot, and a white sauce that came with a take out pizza, no idea what it's called but very tasty.

:D

A traditional Catalan dish from here, Barcelona. "Cap I pota" which literally means "Head and paw".
It has a cow's head, tripe, chorizo... I love it. It can be eaten for breakfast, lunch or dinner, but as a breakfast it gives "a lot of energy" for the entire day.
