Taken a few bites of this Greek salad with tomato, cucumber, feta, olives and lettuce dressed in olive oil and balsamic and salt, pepper, oregano and sumac while I let the rest of it marinade a bit more. Nothing else sounds appetising in summer

Pita cuts dipped in tzatziki for lunch :D

I added a bit of sumac to the recipe in addition to the lemon juice, I wonder if the sumac can replace the lemon entirely in a pinch or if the acidity of the lemon juice helps the dip develop its distinctive flavour  may have to try next time... if it doesn't work I can always just mix in the lemon juice to fix it. It's funny, the sumac gave the yoghurt a slight pink hue and it reminded me of taramosalata. I'm afraid unlike the taramosalata this isn't a fasting dip
