Does anyone else want an episode showing Scootaloo's real family?

Just wondering here I'd personally like an episode addressing Scootaloo's real family. I don't care what the situation is, whether she's an orphan like Cadence, was abandoned because of wing problems, has two parents busy with work and unable to spend time with her, has normal parents like Sweetie Bell it doesn't matter. However before we end the show I'd like a resolution of some sort showing what is happening with her family and what they're relationship is. What about you? Do you want an episode showing her family so we know what is happening there or are you happy for them to remain forever offscreen and instead just show how she interacts with Rainbow Dash and her parents?

For sure. If we were able to get an episode addressing what happened with Applejack's parents, I'm sure we can get an episode explaining what the situation is with Scootaloo and her family. Like many, I'm not satisfied by just seeing her in a house.

Why would their parents matter so much? They have their real families all around them. A family is not always related by blood but by the love shared between the members of it.

I like details, I don't care what Scotaloo's family situation actually is I just want to know for sure. Same as my current project of noting down every holiday/season I see in Ponyville to try and work out a timeline.

I figured that its kind of like Sweetie Belle's situation. Parents are invisible and for the most part don't have a reason to contribute to a story. Would still be nice if the show acknowledged their existence

That's all I want they can be as off screen as Sweetie Belle and Rarity's but Scootaloo is just about the only main character we still know nothing about.

Twilight: Met her family.

Spike: We might be finding out about his biological parents in upcoming episodes and Twilight is his mom.

Pinkie Pie: May be related to Applejack, met her family.

Applejack: Parents presumed dead, may be related to Pinkie, Met her brother, sister and Grandmare.

Rainbow Dash: Met her family, unoficially Scootaloo's Big Sis.

Rarity: Met her family.

Fluttershy: Met her family.

Apple Bloom: See Applejack.

SweetieBelle: See Rarity.

Scootaloo: Unoficially Rainbow's little sister, ?????

Celestia: Over 1,000 years old, tutored by Starswirl, Sister to Luna.

Luna: Over 1,000 years old, sister to Celestia.

Cadence: Orphan raised by Earth Ponies

Starlight: Met her dad, mother ?

Sunburst: Met his mum.

 

I mean there are backgorund ponies we know more about their family situation than Scootaloo for such a major character and with all the other family episodes lately I want to know what's going on with hers.

I'd like to see that kind of episode for sure! We already know about many of the other characters' families but Scootaloo's family stuff is still shrouded in mystery.

I'd like to see Scoot's family, and I think that we have a good chance to see them. I mean, they already appeared in the books and comics, so now they simply need to be transferred to the actual show.

really? i missed that for some reason, is it in the show?

while it would be nice to know, i don't think we'll actually get such an episode,i believe they wan't us to not know, so that we can speculate, and maybe imagine the situation like one we have,or have seen, thus making her more relatable

I can't actually recall off the top of my head if it's said in the show but its in the comics both directly and indirectly for example this conversation between Blueblood and Shining Armour about Cadence's origins.

Its also in the crystal heart novel from what I've heard (haven't read it) and may be in the show but I'd have to go back and rewatch the episodes with Cadence and as its midnight here I don't really want to do that right now so it'll need to wait till tommorow.

I wouldn't mind if Scootie's lesbian aunts appear in the show. Not to mention it'd be nice to see a rare case of a pony of a race being related to one from another (the aunt she's biologically related to is an earth pony)

Which is nice but I'd still like them to be shown in the series not just the comics. I'd prefer a full episode exploring why all she has is aunts and a big sister but even a throw away line of "See you guy's tommorow I've got to attend my aunts birthday." would be something.

Oh well I can always content myself with the adoption fanfics there's some nice ones out there like how to preen your chicken and best adopted filly.

Are they? I haven't read the comic arc with her aunts they could be dead, they could be working hard in manehattan and didn't want to take her away from her home, they could have moved to South Equestria for research purposes and thought it wasn't a place for a young filly, they could be working in Cloudsdale and put her wtih her aunts so she wouldn't fall off the edge. Her aunts could love her but too busy to spend time with her, could just be giving her a roof over her head and not actually care about her, could just be aunts in name and be providing a foster home for a filly with no family of her own. Would they fight to keep her if Hasbro in some weird flip did decide to address adoption or would they happily hand her over to her big sister? There's a huge range of possibilities here. At her cutcenera it was Rainbow Dash who praised her, at the play it was her friends sisters that came to watch. Where are her aunts, why aren't they attending these things, are her parents dead, busy, missing, is her mother Bon Bon hiding from a Bugbear and watching her beloved daughter wistfully dreaming of what she could have had is she wasn't in pony protection.

What I want is answers, information I may get when I reach those arcs in the comics but for right now and for anyone watching the show we know nothing.

I want to see her aunts because it'd be a step closer to LGBT representation in this show, and I'd also like a story about her parents because I think there's a few pretty obvious directions they could go in for a moral there.

I think an episode with Scoots parents in it would be pretty neat, considering that in the show we've never seen any of her family (Comics is different so on and so on I'm not talking about the comics I'm talking about the show itself). Honestly I'm surprised that we haven't met her parents at all before, I mean even with AJ's parents they're at least hinted to be dead, explaining why they aren't around. With Scootaloo's parents or family in general nothing has been mentioned at all, we've seen her house before so we know that she has to have some type of a family member staying with her who would own the house, it would just be nice to see her actual family in the show, or at least hinted at where they could be or what happened to them.
