I have an mlp cast posted from 2012. Does that count at all? You could probably find it easily and buy it. I also have a Rainbow Dash pillow cover for reasons.

I have an Ahuizotl plushie. Pretty sure not many other people have one. Few love him as much as I do. Here he is with my Celestia plushie!

A Starlight Glimmer figure that was officially sold as "Starlight Shimmer". Although the figure itself isn't rare, the naming mess-up is probably unique to my country.

sorry to burst bubbles, but the OlyFactory/chinese knock off plushies dont count as rare merch. You can buy them online everywhere and often in comic/nerd shops around the world.

 

WeLoveFine items would be considered rare now. I own the Vinyl Scratch and Nightmare Moon figures that they did for a short time. (the first wave detailed ones not the chibis)

I would also consider any pre Sunset Shimmer brushies rare as they dont have the "tattoos" and QR codes all over them. Of those, I only have my original Rainbow Dash left.

Speaking of rare gen merch, it's seems "all about Tempest shadow" figure and the rest of the Tempest's merch is rare at where I live. Even though it shouldn't...  Has anyone got the same problem?

I bought a lot of MLP merch around mid 2012. I was getting to the show so much, I wanted to buy a lot of stuff.

I have a lot of the sets that are in storage for safe-keeping. The sets I have were made before Twilight became an Alicorn. I also have the "Favorite Collection Set" with the Nightmare Moon figure unopened mint in box.

Basically all of the MLP merch I have were made in 2012 or earlier. It had the Toys 'R' us exclusive and had the "HUB" logo.  

I don't know if that is counted as rare. I assume it is because of the Toys 'R' us logo is on and so is the "HUB".
