Discord as a teacher at the School of Friendship.

What if Discord were a teacher at the School of Friendship? What would his classes be like?

I can't really see him as a teacher, mostly because he's still learning himself. I see him more as a supporting teacher, like using his magic to provide real-life demonstrations or to visualize lesson material. He could also make the school a bit more fun by adding some chaos into the mix. He could probably do a lot in gym classes by making obstacle courses or creating new games.

He could teach together with Fluttershy about their friendship, and how about he was given a second chance. How Fluttershy believed in him, how Twilight forgave him when he was captured by Tirek, etc.

I don't think Discord's classes would actually have a point.

Maybe, Discord would have an independent study period where he wouldn't actually need to teach anything.

They kinda sorta did that in the comics, with Discord helping lead the CMC's Filly Scouts troupe.

I think he could teach about the concept of having fun without any real point to it. Basically teaching about having a good time without the need for a specific goal or even thought, just doing it, within reason of course. Would match his chaotic aspects pretty well and it could also show his own restraint and consideration for others.

For some reason, I picture him teaching a class on chaos theory because of his nature as a spirit of chaos.

while he often teaches lessons, and has a way of making them very memorable, i don't think his methods would be approved even by Twiligh's rulebook

Very unpleasant, I presume. Even by the standards of the friendship school, Discord would be a particularly incompetent teacher, and would probably put his students through a lot of unreasonably annoying or frightening nonsense.

Instead of "Friendship is Magic," it's "Friendship is Chaos."

Actually, that doesn't sound as bad.  Chaos wouldn't be a bad word to describe that indescribable aspect of friendship (though missing the happier connotation of the word magic, of course).

It would be a class about proving your worth. That is what is behind all of his chaos. From testing twilight friendship magic when he first came on the scene, to glass of water, to spike and big Macs determination to play ogers and ooglyetts. He is always testing ponies. So he would test if sandbar can stay cool under pressure, could the changling act tough to save his friends, can the yak really smash everything, etc. All while being upside down, with Windows showing it day and night out, a blackboard thats actually a black hole, a pencil sharpener that snaps your pencils in half, a clock that runs backwards, with paper airplanes perpetually reenacting ww1 dog fights..
