Posting vectors with transparent background into Photoshop

Hi all,

Whenever I paste a vector with a transparent background into Photoshop, the vector background turns black. (direct copy and paste from page)

When I use the magic eraser to erase the black background, the eyelashes get erased as well since they are black too. (In this case, those of the right eye)

Is there anything that can be done to make it so that the eyelashes don't get erased too?

You have to save the file to the computer and open it in photoshop. You can't copy paste those kinds of things.

Oh. Copy pasting works for other vectors though, so yeah.
