writing Why? (Poem)

Why?

 

 

 

Every moment we spend struggling.

Fighting life itself,

Suffering.

Existence tie us down,

Torture.

Breaking free is never possible.

 

without thought nor care we live.

Brushing away the trouble,

Pain.

The mind acting as a prison,

Despair.

We kill ourself slowly but surely.

 

A quest for light and happiness.

Seeking forever the good,

Darkness.

Not one trace or clue,

Sadness.

The dream is just a nightmare.

 

Drown away the endless sorrow.

Forget it forever,

Melancholy.

If only for a day,

Desperation.

We will never escape this hell.

 

"Why" is the eternal question.

Why do we go on,

We challenge.

Why don't we stop,

Give up.

The answer is simple, death.

 

As the only possible relief.

A way out of all this hate.

We should take it,

Because.

Stops beating.

Sadly, most of my poetry, inlcuding this piece, is written from personal and emotional inpiration, often found in my current mood or train of thoughts.
