Dynamo slowly opened his eyes as he regained consciousness. He tried to gather his bearings over what had just transpired. He noticed that he was laying on his left side, while being completely curled up. While he was okay physically. Except for a few scratches and somewhat tired, due to the poisons that the chemist put him through. He was more mentally tired as he didn't have that much magic left. He wondered how he had gotten out of the ring. He then noticed that his shadow had caught him, before he had taken a serious fall. He wondered how it was possible, before seeing that Rose was walking over to him. He tiredly figured out that it was Rose's shadow abilities that helped save him. "T-Thanks for the save, Rose. What did I miss when I was knocked out. The last thing I remembered was taking down Patchwork and then I lost consciousness." He recalled the past moments, while giving his teammate a tired, yet grateful smile.

Rose satdown next to Dynamo and said with a shrug, "Not much just a bunch of idiots." She didn't want to go into full detail about what happened to him after he lost conscious. Then she added, "How are ya feeling?"

Dynamo watched as Rose made it to him and sat down next to him. He chuckled slightly at her remark, before wincing in pain. "I shouldn't laugh when I'm somewhat hurt." He held a hoof over his chest as he sighed. "I can't argue with what you said. The one's that I fought, along with the one Jade is fighting, are a bunch of fools." He glanced over to Jade, who seem to have full control of the match. He looked back to Rose, who had asked how he was feeling. "It feels like someone threw me into the gates of Tartarus, but I think I'll be okay. I guess Garnethoof went and attacked me when I was knocked out, huh? In all honesty, I'm just more or less a little tired. I don't have that much magic left right now after using that last spell." He says, before he continued. "How about you? How are you feeling? You didn't have to walk all that way over her for me. You should be resting up, since you're still injured." He says, while worrying about her well being.

The kicks sent Garnethoof on his back. He wasn't suspecting the phyisical training Jade had gone through with her two teachers. When he slammed back onto the ring, Jade could feel her powers returning. Either the effect had worn off, or it relied on Garnethoof's concentration. Either way, the thug didn't seem to know. 

He slowly pulled himself up off the ground. "I'm not... done with you yet!" He yelled, charging at Jade one more time for a tackle.

Rose stretched out her wings, feeling them pop from being closed for a while as she said, "I'm  alright. If I need to fight, I just need to end the fight quickly while not using a lot of my magic.

Dynamo kept a neutral expression as Rose told him that she was okay. He knew that she was probably still injured and weakened from that encounter with Team Rokata. However, he smiled and nodded at her remark. "I'm glad to hear that you're doing a little better. Just do what you can and you'll be just fine. You're my teammate and friend. It's why I believe in you, no matter what." His eyes widened slightly as she mentioned about magic. "I almost forgot. Remember that if you are in a bind, then just say aero or wind. My spell should still work, so you have some defense and offense. Would you like me to explain it to you, so you'll have full advantage in the fight?" He wanted to give her as much advice as he could. He could tell the other two members of this team were strong and wouldn't pull any punches.

Jade smirked as she watched Garnethoof's impact, and she felt a tingle through her body. She felt stronger again, like her energy was returning. Her hooves began to glow once more.

She cricked her neck and allowed him to get close enough, before leaping over him, using her powered up hind legs to launch Garnethoof across the ring, using his own momentum against him.

"Well I'm done with you."

Maybe I made them tangible in order to give you a false sense of security." His horn glowed as he prepared a spell, while getting into a fighting stance.

The neon green unicorn blinked as a red blur suddenly flew past him. He threw up his arms, but was quickly punched in the face as he was sent flying back a few feet. He stood back up and rubbed his jaw with his hoof. "That actually hurt a little bit. I wasn't really expecting that, Draco. " He chuckles as he momentarily lost the spell he was focusing on. Frozen, who had seen what was happening, decided to step in to fight. He looked to Cosmic, before quickly flying in to deliver a punch to Snow from behind him. "Don't forget that I'm still here. Cosmic and his constellations aren't the only one's who can fight." Cosmic seeing this had smirked and waited for them to take the bait.

Frostflame took the hit and rolled into the dirt, and back onto his hooves. He decided to focus on the next threat, that flying nuisance, Frozen. He ran from his position into the treeline once more, climbed through the branches, and returned to the opening once he was high enough off the ground. He eyed Frozen's position, waiting for him to get closer, and closer... until he was close enough and leapt out at him.

Frozen hit Snow as he rolled in the dirt. Cosmic was actually surprised as his eyes widened. He wasn't expecting Snow to take the hit from Frozen. That didn't stop him from waiting to strike when the time was right. Frozen went around each and every tree around Snow and Draco to confuse them. 'It's all going according to plan. Just use the surrounding to our advantage.' He smirked as he made some aerial maneuvers. He noticed Snow, who was at the same branch as before the fight began. 'So, he wants to be a smart guy, huh? Well, two can play at this game.' He charged right for Snow on the branches. As he was getting close to his enemy, the ebony Pegasus smirked. "Here's a lesson from me to you. Something that you don't know about me." He pulled back his arm in preparation to punch Snow, but stopped and smirked. "When it comes to fighting against a tactician. The same trick doesn't work twice." He suddenly vanished and was replaced by Cosmic, who used a replacement spell. The neon green unicorn was flying through the air with a laser spell on standby. As he got close, he fired the laser spell to Snow at point blank range.

Garnethoof was launched from the ring on the side of his team, crashing into one of the concrete dividers between the audience and the field, landing upside down against the wall before crashing to the ground.

Topaz tapped the large earth pony on the shoulder and announced, "It seems Garnethoof is pretty much incapacitated, making Jade the winner!"

Cumulus was still sitting, but a smile crept across his face. "I like that one." He said just loud enough for Zerra to hear him.

 

As the audience complained and booed, Big Shot walked through the open doors behind the two remaining members of his team and pointed at Cumulus. "Cumulus, get off your ass! I need you in there now!" He ordered.

Draco went back into being a blur as he sped towards the one who fired the laser. Using pure strength he made himself a spinning pegasus of death. The talons on his gauntlets whirred through the air like a buzzsaw towards the spell caster.

Jade smirked as Topaz declared her the winner, not even caring that the audience didn't like the outcome. She got revenge for her team, and that's what mattered. And she had barely even broken a sweat.

She glanced, eyes narrowed, at Cumulus and Zerra, wondering which one would go next. She wanted to see what another Pegasus fighter could do.

Dynamo nodded as he leaned towards Rose and whispered in her ear. He made sure that the other team didn't listen to the spell that he had placed upon Rose before he fought.  He leaned back after his explanation as he heard a punch being delivered. He looked over to see Garnethoof being launched out of the ring and hit the concrete dividers. He winced from the impact, but he could see that he was out. "Sounds as if he got a big old dose of karma. Never get on one's bad side. Not unless you want to face the wrath of the pony you made angry."

He looked down at the ground with a look that was mixed with both anger and sadness. "I-I'm sorry that I lost. I was hoping that I was able to get at least a third win. However, I guess the spell I used had drained me of my magic. I didn't even realize that I lost consciousness, until Rose filled me in on what happened." He looked up and gave Jade an apologetic look.

As Cosmic fired the laser spell, his ears perked as he could hear something flying towards him. He soon turned to see Draco, who was spinning around like a buzz saw. He narrowed his eyes and grit his teeth as he knew taking an attack from Draco would be fatal. He used the teleportation spell to appear next to Frozen and avoid any confrontation. He smirked as he thought that Draco would probably hit Snow, while spinning and flying like a blur. "You two really don't have any teamwork, do you? Frozen and I have known each other since we were in elementary school. So, we know every thought, every plan, every strategy and any counter measure." Frozen adjusted his glasses, before continuing. "Basically, what my teammate is saying is that you can't win. You are basically running in circles. You'll just be wasting your energy, so why even bother trying?" He asks as he prepared to think of their next plan of attack.

Dynamo looked up to his Captain's gaze in surprise. First it was Rose and now it was Jade, who reassured him that it was okay. He knew he would talk to them later on he learned such a spell. He also knew that he would be told about his recklessness, as well. At the moment, he smiled softly and felt grateful to know they cared about him. "Thank you Jade. You're truly are kind and a great friend." He says as he briefly turns to Rose. "You're a kind and great friend too, Rose. I can't ask for better friends than all three of you." He added Tricis as his list of friends. He knew she was a strict teacher, but he knew she meant well. If it wasn't for her, then he might not have done as well as he did in his two matches. He turned back to Jade and nodded at her suggestion. "I'll make sure to rest and recover in case you need my help. Just please be careful. The one's I faced were strong, but I can sense something is different about Cumulus and Zerra. Whether either one is the captain or not, they seem to have the power to back them up." He says as he wanted to make sure that Jade and Rose would be careful.

"Wise advice," Tricis agreed. She looked across the ring at Cumulus and Zerra and said, "Look at them. They're losing three to one right now but they don't seem concerned. Their strength levels have been wildly unpredictable till now. The chemist was strong enough. The doctor was stronger. And the thug was weak. These last two will be even more unpredictable. Zerra required an entire squad of royal guards to bring her in. We know nothing about Cumulus' strength because no one ever captured him. He turned himself in."

 

"Get in there now, Cumulus! I spent more on you than those others combined! You're supposed to be my champion!" Big Shot ordered.

Cumulus shot a look back at his boss. His mane and tail transformed into fire and the chain collar around his neck melted off into molten slag. The guards on either side of him stepped back. "You said we'd fight our way to freedom. This is nothing but a sham!"

Big Shot put up his hoofs defensively. "Come on, it wasn't all me! That last one was the committee's idea! Listen, you told me you wanted an honest fight with their captain! Here's your shot! Look, she didn't use any of her power to fight that last fight, you can challenge her fair and square! I promise to keep my hooves out of this one!"

Dynamo looked to Tricis in surprise at her last statment. "He turned himself in? He asks in a mutter to himself, before continuing. "What did he do to prompt him into turning himself in?" He asks in mild cuiriosity. "He doesn't seem that evil or anything along those lines. However, looks can be deceiving. It may either be a facade, or he's different than the rest. I guess we'll see when he fights." He was caught off guard as he saw Cumulus' mane and tail turned into flames. Even the chain collar around his neck had melted away. "I guess I was right in my guess of looks can be deceiving. I just wasn't expecting that. Does anyone have a fire extinguisher to put out those flames?" He narrowed his eyes at Big Shot as Cumulus yelled at him. 'This Big Shot fellow doesn't really know what he wants. He pays for all these fighters, yet he's very afraid of them. I also don't trust him with his last statement. With what we've been through so far, it's like he'll do anything to get on Team Lockdown's good side.' He stayed quiet, while sitting and resting to recover. He imagined the next fight was going to be a crazy one.

Jade looked back toward the final two opponents. Dynamo and Tricis were right; she knew nothing about Cumulus or Zerra, including what they were capable of. She would have to keep on her hooves.

I thought only Kirin could do that.

She lowered her hoof back down and kept her glare on Cumulus. Now she knew to expect fire.

Cumulus's flames died down to a sizzle and his mane and tail returned to normal. He looked back at Jade and smirked. "Honest tussle with her? Suppose I could be bothered for that." He said. He jumped up and flew onto the ring, never touching the ground, he hovered across from Jade.

"Sorry for all that, love, but that was a proper show you gave.," He said to Jade. Then he hovered in closer and spoke more quietly. "To be honest, we have the same opinion of that Garnethoof, you and I. The biggy in the suit runs the show and he didn't much give me any input on who my teammates would be, and I must say, these ones he found aren't much to be around or even to look at." He whispered even more quietly, "Oh, but don't tell Zerra I said that. Sensitive, that one. Wouldn't know a joke if it bit her in the arse; and something must have bitten her somewhere with a look like that."

Rose let a grin creep on her face as she listened to what the spell is and how to use it, but it quickly disappeared when she noticed that Jade and Cumulus were just talking. She couldn't hear what they were talking about, but she had a feeling it wasn't good
