Dynamo stayed silent unless otherwise called upon. He looked to Jade as he was curious himself. He saw some of them as a team and friends, but he wanted to know what the feelings of the others were.

"If you were so powerful," Jade remarked, "you would not be on your knees and outnumbered." Her eyebrows lowered in annoyance. "I suggest you be on your way, before I find out if you're still so chatty after I kick your jaw out of place."

Draco began to pace back and forth. His eyes scanning the team. "Frostflame there and I did fight if I wanted to kill him I wouldn't have sent a wound that looks bad or felt bad in any way. If I wanted him dead I would have aimed for his spleen," Draco stated simply. "And you Jade you want respect along with the ability to command? then humble yourself you silly little mare. And you Tricis never ever interupt a Courier's Justice ever again lest you want to fight me to the death," Draco stated simply.

Making enemies with capable combatants isn't the smartest thing, especially your own allies."

Rose quietly watched as they argues, due to her condition, she couldn't stand or wield anything. In fact she was drained of magic, so she couldn't support herself with it. She nodded at what Frostflame was saying, but she kept an eye on him, since they might be in the same field of work.

As the argument between Cosmic and the team continued, Frozen was caught off guard as Draco threw his weapons at the Pegasi's wings. The ebony Pegasus howled in pain as the weapons made direct contact to his wings. He gritted his teeth as there was nothing he could do. "O-Oh, sure. A-Attack a pony when he's defenseless. Goes to show w-what kind of honor you have, Draco!" He snarls, before being untied by Frostflame. He didn't have time to feel grateful as Frostflame escorted him away.

At the mention of being escorted out of the room, Cosmic was fed up with being ignored. "That's enough! I will not stand here and watch as you ignore me! I was born with powerful magic and I deserve to be on a team of greatness. All I see are someone who can use shadows, one who is born with the wind, one with the strength of ice, as well as the leader, who is powerful in her own right. However, I have to be denied by the one, who took away my destiny! That magic is wasted on him and it should have gone to me! However, it was not meant to be. He gained the power of games and what can he do? Sub elemental magic? Oh, wow. Not that impressive if you ask me. I wanted an answer, so I deserve an answer now! Give me what I want, or I'll destroy this whole building to the ground!" It was then that Dynamo couldn't stand the nonsense he was hearing. "Okay, that's it. Enough is enough! We don't want to hear this anymore, Cosmic. The problem is that you don't know when to grow up." He sat up in his seat, before continuing.

"We all have our reasons to be here. You think you know why I'm here and yet that's your claim. I told you the truth and you don't seem to believe me. Although, when have you ever believed me?" He paused as he awaited an answer. To which, he got no response from the neon green unicorn. "That's what I thought. I've been pushed around by you and Frozen for too long. I don't care what you have to say anymore. I chose to live my life and be who I wanted to be. I'm going to be the greatest gamer in the world. Will I be able to because I have a video game cutie mark? Maybe and do you know why? I want to work hard and earn that title of being the best gamer. Not because of the talent from my mark, but from working hard and not giving up. I found my reason to fight and be here and this is my team and they are my friends. I had to grow up and yet you didn't. You're still the same, sad and unwavering foal, who couldn't accept what was in front of him." Cosmic tried to open his mouth, but found that no words would escape. "F-Fine, then! Have it your way!" He exclaims, before grabbing Frozne, turned around and made his way towards the door. "You mark my words, Kyubiki Tenchu! I'll have my horn fixed and I will have my revenge! Just watch your back because I will find you!" He shouts, before making exiting the room and slamming the door behind him. He knew that he would be stopped if he tried to destroy the room. He knew he was beaten, but he vowed to see them again and exact his revenge. As the door slammed shut, Dynamo sighed and leaned back in his chair. He raised a hoof and rubbed the side of his head to get rid of the headache he was having. "I'm sorry you had to deal with that, but those were my two bullies. They weren't always like that, but they went down their chosen paths."

Jade looked to Dynamo during his speech, head tilted slightly. While she didn't understand why he had such a drive to master these video games, she could understand having such a passion for something. Like her own for becoming a better fighter. That was all she needed to understand.

She looked down at her hooves. The others were right; all this frustration from the tournament had made her lose herself in the past hours. She needed to be a strong leader, one who looked out for and respected her team, not one who reprimanded them for every little thing.

She bowed her head to her teammate. "I can see why you were chosen for this team."

Tricis started with Rose Beast since her injuries were the worst. She placed both of her front hooves on her chest and closed her eyes, exhaling as a warm yellow glow emanated from her hooves. There was a soft buzzing sound as the room was bathed in soft light. This was different than the last time Tricis aided Rose. Rose felt instantly better as her broken bones and tissue started to mend.

She seemed perplexed by Draco's reaction to Dynamo's speech. She was over three times Draco's age and she'd never heard a pony speak that way without being sarcastic. He was also insulting Frostflame again. Those two were like children who couldn't finish an argument because they each had to be the last to speak.

"Are you all quite finished?" She asked. "Are we ready to start?"

Dynamo's ears perked at the sound of someone giving him a round of applause. He looked to see Draco, who was clapping at the speech he had given. This caused the gaming unicorn to become genuinely shocked. "T-Thanks...I guess." He says, unsure of how to respond. Ever since meeting the others, he could never get a good read on Draco. Seeing how the wind user fought, he knew better than to start trouble with either Draco or Frostflame. "I guess it's because I don't see the reason as to why someone would mock video games. I've been mocked all my life for one thing or another. I just won't let someone stomp on what I care about because they don't understand how I feel. I've always felt that I can push myself when it comes to playing video games. Sure, it's just a machine and buttons, but I feel like it's more to it than that. I remember hearing this from someone in an anime once. You can be the best there is in this room. However, there will always be someone out there, who is even better than you. I always like to push myself and see if I'm able to improve. Even if the opponent I face is stronger, smarter or all around greater. It gives me that much more of a reason to work harder and change that outcome."

His attention was then brought to Jade, who was bowing her head to him. Dynamo felt a little uneasy at that. He had never gotten this kind of respect before in his life. Had had gained fans in his time of competing in video game tournaments, but they were just fans. They would fade away in time and not know him on a more personal level. Here, he felt as if he was starting to gain acceptance from the team. He smiled softly and shook his head. "Please. Don't bow to me, Jade. If anyone is to bow, then it should be me." He says, bowing his head to his captain. "If you took me out of the match, then we might have lost. In all honesty, I'm glad you, Rose and Master Tricis gave me a chance. I didn't want to let any of you down after what their team was trying to do." He looked up from his bow and gave her a kind, yet grateful look. His look turned serious as he looked to Jade, Tricis and the rest of the team. "I remember saying that I'd tell you what that spell I used was all about, right?" He asks, remember that his match was played on the TV.

"It's like I asked Patchwork. How much percentage of your brain can you use in a regular day?" He didn't give the others a chance to respond, before continuing. "A majority of doctors would say about seven to nine percent. Others would also estimate about one hundred percent. However, the spell I used can use more than one hundred percent. It's like the old saying, the body can't comprehend as fast as the mind permits it. This spell removes the limiters on the body and can move as fast as the mind. That's why I called the spell the Mind Racer. When used, my physical strength is almost unmatched. I can move so quickly that most others can't see. My magical output literally hits the roof. It's how I can go beyond those limits and add magical and physical abilities in complete balance." He says, before sighing and shaking his head. "However, within that lies a few drawbacks. It takes a good amount of time for me to use such a spell. The spell takes a lot of magic and drains whatever magic I have left. It's basically a last resort spell. The spell also comes with a few risks involved. I can only use the spell for ten seconds. If I go past the time limit, then I get a nosebleed. True, that doesn't sound too bad. In hindsight, it's worse than you can imagine. I can run the chance of losing mobility function. Since the spell can tear my muscle tissue apart. Meaning, I would have to relearn how to walk and run. I could potentially lose any memory I have of the past. I could forget important things like friends, family or anything of that sort. I could even lose the ability to mold magic." He shuddered at the risks he was told when trying the spell for the first time.

"I remember talking about this spell to Starlight. She liked the idea and how I wanted to go about it. The first time I used it, I remember waking up in the hospital in Ponyville. The doctor told me that I was lucky. They told me that Starlight had used her own magic to keep me alive. They also told me never to use such a spell again, unless it was important. Starlight and I labeled it as forbidden magic. Seeing how this spell will never be found in any book. This is a one of a kind spell that Starlight and I came up with. This spell has power that could potentially rival that of even Star Swirl the Bearded, but it's like I said. This spell is incomplete and has it's risks."

As Tricis began to heal Rose, Dynamo looked to the coach and nods at her question. "Yes. I'm ready to start, Coach." He wasn't sure if he could call Tricis his master. He would have to ask his coach at a later time. At the moment, he knew the group had a lot to discuss.

Frostflame just tuned out Draco's response, Frostflame's tried everything to make him realize he's on his side but to no avail. It didn't matter though, he'd probably perish in the arena, he thought to himself. As he let Frozen go, he watch Cosmic leave as well... he was about to lecture him in magic, but Dynamo beat him to the punch. He knew Frozen probably wouldn't cause any more trouble, at least with him, but he'd need to stay alert in case Cosmic did. As soon as they were all gone he shut and locked the door, heading back towards the others. Without saying a word, he nodded to Tricis, and stood silently.

Tricis waited for Dynamo to explain his magical ability first. It was good for all of them to understand how it worked. Then she finished healing Rose. She took her hooves off the pegasus's chest, and she would immediately find that her body was rapidly healing.

"I'll start by answering a question that I'm sure a lot of you have," she announced. "Why didn't the mean lady use her special healing techniques to fix Rose before the fight?" She switched to Dynamo Pad, laying her hooves on his back and using her magic to repair him as well. "As I explained yesterday, your magical ability can grow considerably when your body goes through great strain. I had hoped that Rose wouldn't have to fight today, but I underestimated the number of dirty tricks our enemy was willing to pull. Still, Rose and Dynamo will grow considerably because of what they went through today. Even if they can't feel the changes now."

She took her hooves off Pad and addressed the rest of the room. "You all have extraordinary growth potential. That is the thing you all have in common. It has to be the reason you were brought here. You arrived at this tournament already believing you'd reached your peaks, but you must realize by now you have a lot to learn."

She made eye contact with each of them individually. "You've been targeted. You realize that? Rokata and his team have already picked which of you they like best. I have a feeling you already know which of them you'll be fighting if you make it to the finals. I know the way Rokata thinks. He will get his way." She looked at Frostflame specifically for a moment. "And if you try and find some way out of this, that will only worsen your chances. That means you need to be prepared to fight these opponents. I've been observing you, measuring the five of you to see how you stack up against the members of Team Rokata. You will not succeed if you challenge them as you are now. Two of you have already experienced this first hoof." She looked at Rose and Frostflame. "The results weren't very pretty, were they?"

She pointed to a paper roster posted on the wall. Only six teams out of the original fourteen were still on the board. "Tomorrow is the last day of the second round. After that, you will fight in the semi-finals. Then there will be one day of rest. Then come the finals. You have four days."

He looked at Frostflame and said simply "I know you're on my side but here's some advice for you Frostflame. Live life to the fullest. And don't pretend to be anypony different than what you are," Draco said as he leaned back and closed his eyes.

Dynamo stayed quiet and listened as Tricis talked to the team. He felt the magic aura from her hooves as she placed her hooves upon his back. He closed his eyes, while allowing the healing effect begin to take hold. He sighs softly, feeling the effects of the toxin had begun to fade away. He opened his eyes as she took her hooves off of his back. His ears perked as he glanced slightly towards Draco. He listened to what he had to say, before turning back to his coach. 'Sadistic or not, she was right in her train of thought. I healed up from the previous match and felt more prepared in this battle. That, and the ability to sense magic had helped tremendously.' He thought, not wanting to start any trouble. He nods as Tricis mentioned that they had a lot to learn. "I understand that and I'm ready to work harder. I was more curious as to why I was brought here. Instead of thinking I've reached the peak of my ability. With how my spell is incomplete, I just know I have a lot more room to improve." He looked down to his hooves, nodding as he wanted to do better for the team.

As the coach explained that they were being targeted, Dynamo gulped as he understood very clearly. "I guess how we met each member of Rokata was not a coincidence. For me, I know I'm going to fight Selene. I do have a question though, Coach. Besides Rokata, is there anything that you know about each of the other members? If there's anything, then it would be really helpful." He says, wondering what other kind of abilities Selene had up her sleeve. He remembered she could stop the opponent's heart, but he wasn't stopped by her. 'I remember she told me that I have the champion's spirit. There has to be more to it than that.' He closed his eyes, deep in thought as to make heads or tails of the matter. At the mention of two members of this team were challenged, the gaming unicorn raised his hoof slightly. "I guess you could kind of say three members. I didn't challenge her, but she tried to stop my heart. I was able to stop her, but we just talked. Afterwards, I ran out of the stadium and into the forest. It was then I intercepted that pony, who was fighting Rose."

He looked up to the poster that Tricis was pointing to. "So, we'll get at least a day of rest tomorrow and then the semi final. Then more rest and training and then the finals. That doesn't sound too bad for the game plan. I'm guessing we'll still need to work on our training schedules to get stronger."

Frostflame, still standing casually draws his blade, and gives a rather blank stare to his group, before glancing at Tricis. He wasn't about to strike, but kept his blade out, and listened carefully to what everyone had to say. He faced the blade downward, not quite piercing the floor, but resting against it. He thought to himself, having to fight that monstrosity once more. One of the only beings who could ever defeat him, and he'd have to rematch him. He felt a lack of confidence, especially since he cannot conjure ice anymore.

After Tricis was finished healing her. She stood up and said, "I know that full well that my family was targeted and I can't wait." Her shadow shivered a bit, then it was still. She added as she was heading to the door, "I hope no one will care if I take out Cosmo after the tournament."

"I'll start by answering a question that I'm sure a lot of you have," she announced. "Why didn't the mean lady use her special healing techniques to fix Rose before the fight?" She switched to Dynamo Pad, laying her hooves on his back and using her magic to repair him as well. "As I explained yesterday, your magical ability can grow considerably when your body goes through great strain. I had hoped that Rose wouldn't have to fight today, but I underestimated the number of dirty tricks our enemy was willing to pull. Still, Rose and Dynamo will grow considerably because of what they went through today. Even if they can't feel the changes now."

She took her hooves off Pad and addressed the rest of the room. "You all have extraordinary growth potential. That is the thing you all have in common. It has to be the reason you were brought here. You arrived at this tournament already believing you'd reached your peaks, but you must realize by now you have a lot to learn."

She made eye contact with each of them individually. "You've been targeted. You realize that? Rokata and his team have already picked which of you they like best. I have a feeling you already know which of them you'll be fighting if you make it to the finals. I know the way Rokata thinks. He will get his way." She looked at Frostflame specifically for a moment. "And if you try and find some way out of this, that will only worsen your chances. That means you need to be prepared to fight these opponents. I've been observing you, measuring the five of you to see how you stack up against the members of Team Rokata. You will not succeed if you challenge them as you are now. Two of you have already experienced this first hoof." She looked at Rose and Frostflame. "The results weren't very pretty, were they?"

She pointed to a paper roster posted on the wall. Only six teams out of the original fourteen were still on the board. "Tomorrow is the last day of the second round. After that, you will fight in the semi-finals. Then there will be one day of rest. Then come the finals. You have four days."

Jade stiffened, not liking the idea of being 'targeted'. Did this mean her home was on watch? Her family?

She shook her head. No, her village was next to impossible to find unless one had been there already. And even then, her old teacher was more than enough to protect it.

"So we have four days to prepare for this Rokata and his team," she summarised. "How should we do so?"

Tricis saw Jade and Rose's reaction to what she said and realized she needed to clarify something. "No, that's not what I mean. Your family is safe, Rose. In order for you to understand what I mean, you'll need to understand what is motivating Rokata and his team. I don't know what their team's owner, Rail is planning, but I believe it's obvious what the actual fighters of team Rokata want. They've made it clear that they're eager to fight you, and it appears that they've already picked their favorites. Selene has shown interest in Dynamo. The member with the shadow familiar has already attacked Rose. Frostflame has also already encountered the minotaur. That leaves the blood mage to Draco and of course, Jade, You already know who you will need to fight."

Jade nodded, a solemn frown on her face. "Rokata himself. I will need to see him fight, so I know what I'm up against."

Tricis sat back down, making sure Rose and Pad were healed. "First thing tomorrow, team Tsunami fights team Crimos. After that, Team Rokata will fight a team called the Spirit Warriors. It's important that you all watch both of these fights."

Rose nodded and said, "i know that my dad will be fine. When he attacked me, he said that he thought my father would show up. So he would have been targeted if he was sent here." She walked out the door and headed to the bar to grab a drink before getting back to training.

Dynamo's eyes widened slightly at the mention of them being targeted. Seeing the looks on Jade and Rose's faces meant that they were worried, as well. As Tricis explained that their families were safe, Dynamo sighed in relief. "That's good to hear. I already lost my father. I don't want to lose my mother, or any of my friends for that matter." He says, listening to what the coach was trying to explain to him and the others. "I guess by seeing these next few matches, we'll find out what is driving Rokata and the others. You can count me in on being there to watch the other matches. We have to see who we'll be facing. We'll also need to gain all the info we can, in order for us to be prepared. Who knows what we'll be dealing with next." He says, remembering the rules and battles they've been through already.

The gaming unicorn stayed quiet as he tried to think about what Tricis had told them. 'Rail wanted to motivate Rokata and his team. So, if we make it to the finals, then they get to fight each of us. Even so, then why? Could it be that...perhaps?' He thought, before looking at the team. "Hey, coach. I know this is just a theory, but I might have an idea of what Rail is plotting. I remember what you told Jade and I when we were training. You said that Rokata wasn't always like this. He must have been like us, or what we are being right now. However, something must have happened to him to make him change into the pony he is today." He says, placing a hoof under his chin, before continuing. "I mean, it makes a bit of sense when you think about it. Maybe each member of Team Rokata lacks reasoning or motivation they once had. That, or they want someone to give them a reason for a challenge. Maybe Rail found each of us for a reason. Perhaps our opponent has the greater will, ability or strength. Like how Rose can use shadow, while she has to fight the member with a shadow familiar. I know it's just a guess, but maybe we were picked because we had something our chosen opponents once had, but lost over time."

As he listened to who would fight who, Dynamo nodded with a sigh. "I had a feeling that I would be fighting Selene. I didn't know why, but I felt that I would see her again. I just didn't think I would be having to fight her. I hope I can understand in her wanting to fight me. I remember she told me that I had a strong will. I still don't know what that has to do with me fighting her, but I feel that there's more to it than that."

Tricis thought there was more to talk about, but there was no stopping Rose since she left the room before anyone even noticed. When she made it to the bar she saw that it was just as crowded as the opening night. All of the fights for the day were over and fans were drinking and talking about them. The bar was huge, and one part of it was sparsely populated compared to the rest. Topaz was sitting at a table by herself with a glass of champagne. Across from her, two tables down, Rail was sitting with a bottle of scotch and two armored guards sitting on either side of him. Rail seemed to occasionally glance at Topaz.

"There's no way to know what those motivations are, but I agree with you in general," Tricis said to Pad. "I suppose you could always try asking them, but I wouldn't really advise that."

She looked at Frostflame. Once she had a chance, she wanted to talk to him privately.

"I'm glad you're so confident." Tricis said, "Because that edgy boy is at least learning his limitations right now. I'm not going to tell you to be wise. I'm aware that the concept doesn't gell with you. But do try to consider the reality of the situation you're in. Right now you've fought a ballerina and a couple of punk ass kids." Tricis avoided saying anything past that, because she wasn't sure how serious Draco was being.
