finally! after having internal conflicts with myself, i finally made my second gabber mix! and it's a even more powerful, hard-hitting collection of tracks than ever, coupled with some of my best editing as of now! 44:15 minutes of gabbertastic melodies and distorted kicks overload for your enjoyment!

 

i'm literally shaking with joy typing this post! that's how happy i am that this is finished!

i'd totally make pony music mixes, but afaik, there is not that much hardcore pony music available out there, or psytrance, for that matter.

 

plus my sole goal with these mixes is to rival RKA's position on these forums, anyway.

that's encouraging, but i'm not that skilled yet. i don't have any experience playing around with VirtualDJ, yet. all my mixes have been done in Audacity, which frankly isn't the most ideal way to make mixes, but it does the job decently anyways. i might play around with it soon, though!

i am thinking about doing that. what's keeping me is that making mixes in it requires you to spin tracks in real-time, i.e. you record what it is you're currently doing, if what RKA told me is correct. in Audacity, i can stop and supervise the mix whenever i want, and have full control over what i'm doing. only problem is that isn't quite as flexible when it comes to making DJ mixes with equipment designed for doing so.

 

it has, however, given me a better understanding on how audio editing works. maybe this'll actually make convince me in working with software designed for making music, which is one thing i've been dying to learn since the beginning of this year.
