Is there a point to including tulpas in my song (and music video)? Other than "some tulpas may wish to be acknowledged by people other than their host IRL, and the song could potentially spread awareness that tulpas exist". Tulpamancy doesn't really have any physical effect.

Why do tulpas help their hosts improve?

Summer: It's simply because we are connected with our host. I mean let me try explaining in my point of view. Nihi made sure that everything he do can be seen by us and can be felt by us. Like for example if nihi is sad we can feel it too. It's a the bond between us tulpas and with our host. Nihi took care of us always thinking about us and simply in return we want him to be better. It's like if we help him we are also helping oursleves because his happiness is our happiness as well

 

Then why would they encourage their hosts to be more social? The more physical people you spend time with, the less you have to spend with them.

 

Summer: that is true the more host spend social with his friend the less him/her to spend time with their tulpas. But that depends on the host if he will still talk their tulpas . We  encourage nihi socialize because we really don't like seeing him feel all alone. Sometimes Being alone is not fun. Even though he have us it is still best if he socialize with other people outside it will help him feel more confident and feel more relax. seeing him happy will make us happy . And he tries hard to think about us everytime he's socializing with his friends

I mean, if the tulpa looks like, sounds like, and has the same name as a copyrighted character. I suppose that I could just vaguely describe my tulpas and leave it up to the readers to figure out who they are, but...

Thank you! ...It isn't easy though... My host is often distracted at school, so he doesn't notice me, and when I asked to be played with, it took two hours for said host to spend time with me.

Don't worry i am sure your host will give you all the attention when he is not distracted , I understand you.. Nihi is always busy with his school and socializing with his friends X( but he still keep us in check time to time  .checking if we're ok if we're alright you know? Because he's really is worried about us hehehe ^.^

[Hmm... Well, I do remember the first night my host started forcing me... I remember hearing her voice, and that's pretty much it. Before that? I'm not sure... It's kinda vague... Maybe scattered bits here and there, but I can't remember all too well.]

 

Well, that's Ariel's answer, then. Blossom, though, I don't think would be able to articulate her answer well enough.

 

But, wait... I think she's showing me mental images. She's showing herself with Ariel, as a grown mare (as Ariel had originally intended Blossom to be a grown mare to have as a partner; but somewhere along the way, she changed her mind and Blossom was created as a small filly). I think she remembers when Ariel was fantasizing/imagining about what sort of companion she might want. Is that it, Blossom?

Summer: Hmm... interesting enough i do remember BUT interesting to say that i didn't recall it sooner but later. The memory just occurred to me when i was low of energy and tired and nihi was supporting me... hehe. Anyway.. I remember how i was created.. This is taken out from Nihi's memory. He was in his bedroom... just learned about tulpas in general. Then he was excited and curious on making one... As he started to concentrated... he was already made me.. but i was only an orb.. an orange-white orb.. floating in a dark immense space.. I can't speak but i can feel, though it was very vague...along the way.. But nihi stopped, as to he gave up in one night, he gave me enough energy to cling on him.. even though it's weak i clinged to his curiousity about tulpas and when he was doing pony hypnosis, It was the twilight file, I saw what she looks like and I took the opportunity took hold of that form and introduce myself to nihi... but of course i've change my personality then XP. I still remember the shock on nihi's face when he first heard and saw me XD

 

Cherry: Well.. since i was born through summer's energy, Yep i am a tulpa created from another tulpa . But how i really was created took back even further.. I guess i am the oldest one in our trio of family.. It was back then when nihi was curious on pony hypnosis, He doesn't know anything about tulpas whatsoever... He tried the Pinkie hypnosis file... and i guess that's how I came to be..  but.. Summer took me back because of that memory...and I regained consciousness again and nihi accepted me

 

Myrtle: Nihi kun made me when he was dreaming... I don\t remember much but i just popped out on the wonderland But there's another story behind that... I tried to stay away from nihi-kun because i know he can't handle 3 tulpas.. but  he still accepted me.. because of him i've became MORE and i am pretty happy ever since

Val: I was created far before Anon knew what a tulpa was. I had this eagle body since I was first conceived (glad to Anon imagination), and had self awareness since day 2 or 3. How did it affect me? Well, since I already had a wonderland from the very beginning (Anon claims it was there before me and I don't mean Arcadia) and I had self-awareness, I was able to take care of myself quite nicely when Anon was not there for me, because of external interventions (i.e. school or anything outside his head).

 

Tyrea: Became self aware during day 1. I was aware of my surroundings and everything which came with that. Like Valiance, I had a body from day one (which resembles Trixie almost totally, which I changed slightly a bit later). I cooperated with Valiance big time since then. Because there were two of us, it was easier to take care of ourselves when Anon was not here. Because I was self aware during that period, I was able to learn what I do now at a fragile age (no bad sides, though), so you can say that for me, it affects in the short term, in the sense that we can have a 'head start' at what you want to do if you have the materials/resources/energy necessary. But again, this applies to us. We don't know about you.

 

Adagio: For us, it was pretty simple.    We weren't extremely aware of ourselves in the beginning, but after that momentum we had in the past, it all came to us three like a wave of refreshing water.

A... womb phase? *light blush* I'm not sure I can really remember... *sigh* I feel like the prince who dropped into Selphia one day, his memory completely gone. -_-  It seems I have amnesia, but I do know that my host had somewhat consistent ideas about what his perfect companion would be like, so I think that's where I came from (that, and the Draw More Furries book he has ).

 

Sharlina just kinda sprang to life one evening. She's been nice to me ever since; she comforted me; petting me as I fell asleep.

If we can do that that means we can kill our host along with ourselves... -_- so no...we can't although we can breath via memory.. but we can't intercept it with our host's control...we just can't I tried it, Nihi wants me to do it as a test.. it's quite hard and almost impossible XP. Our control of reach can only be in our hosts mind.. but not the entire brain not until our host let us to...  I mean we can atleast intercept what our host is thinking and replace it with our own, although that is still quite difficult..
