Just moments ago a statement was released that Los Angeles Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs has died this afternoon.

Skaggs was only 27. Having pitched 96 games with a career record of 28-38 with a 4.41 ERA and 476 career strikeouts. Currently there’s no statement of how it happened, but tonight’s Angels game scheduled against the Texas Rangers has been postponed to tomorrow in his memory. He is survived by his wife Carli. This is a terrible loss for the MLB

I'm far from an Anaheim Angels fan, but it sucks whenever any hard working member of a team goes down.

My condolences for their loss, and may his legacy live on.

And someone so young, too! To me, the fact he left us too soon is the saddest part, even though I'm not a big baseball fan. My condolences to fans everywhere.

@Monado_Dash

Daddy's here if you need a shoulder to cry on.
