"I am half-pony and half-dragon, that's really the only way I can word it, of course it isn't exact halves, since for example my appearance is lot more dragon, but that's a good rule to go by if you try to figure out how much qualities I have from what side...." Ember explained "...but I'd say that I have mostly positives from both sides, but option of others depends on which species you ask."

"Hmm...I guess that makes sense. I suppose that's the only way to explain it as you're the first hybrid creature I've ever met. After all, I did notice that you do look a little more dragon than pony. I wasn't sure about the whole pegasus side of being half pony as your wings are more dragon styled. Unless you meet Discord, who's basically a bunch of different animals made into the being of chaos. Granted, I never really met the guy in person..." Dynamo responded with a nod. "...You've been pretty awesome and impressive since we've been hanging out today. So, I don't think there are any negatives on either pony or dragon side from spending time with you. If there is, then it's not really that much of a difference, or the difference is not really noticeable." He says, finishing up his food as he began to notice that the sun was starting to set.

"I figured you'd say something along those lines...." Ember stated, her lack of surprise solidifying her claim "...you have been pleasant company to have too, it has been a while since I last sat down and just talked..." she had been eating between her statements during the whole conversation, so her plate was already empty, she gave some more seeds to her crow, she had been giving them now and then during the conversation too. "...but it seems it's getting late, I need to start heading home, was this all or would you like to meet again?"

"I suppose what I had said was pretty obvious. I guess knowing I'd say something like that would make me a bit easy to read..." He jokingly replied with a chuckle. "...Also, thank you and it really means a lot to hear you say that. It's been a while since I got to hang out with someone and just talk..." He smiled, finishing up the rest of his beverage. He would leave the plate on the table as he knew the shop owners would come and collect the plates when it was time to leave. "...It does look like it's starting to get a little late. I didn't think so much time had already gone by. I understand as I need to start getting home too. I gotta make sure that I'm up early for work tomorrow and of course. I most definitely would love to meet you again. I was hoping this date wasn't a one time thing, anyway. If that's okay with you, that is."

"Just say the place and time, choosing that still falls on you because I choose my own work times..." Ember simply replied, there wasn't any obvious emotions or thoughts that could have been read from her face or tone, just general friendliness, but that of course didn't mean there was nothing, she just wasn't sure about it so she didn't show it. "...and honestly, I feel like I should take a small break from work anyway.".

"The time and place is all on me, huh...?" Dynamo questioned simply as he listened to Ember's reply. He wasn't able to read her tone or the expression upon her face, but she sounded genuinely friendly from he words. Even though they had just met, Dynamo knew he liked being around Ember. The only question was did he like her as a friend, or was there something more to it than that. Either way, he nodded with a kind smile. "...Okay, then. I get done work early tomorrow in the early to mid afternoon. Maybe we can meet up and see where the road takes us. What do you think? I'd say it's up to you on if you want to take a small break. It's always good to take some time for yourself instead of being immersed in work."

"Sound like a plan, see you tomorrow."  Ember simply responded, before heading out, taking flight right after exiting the restaurant.

Unfortunately Dynamo wouldn't get the chance to explore his feelings further, as next day, when the agreed time came, Ember was nowhere to be seen, and she didn't appear regardless how long he waited, and when Dynamo eventually got tired waiting, he wouldn't be able to walk far before a mare approached him. The mare introduced herself as Ice Blossom, and claimed she was a friend of Ember, then asking Dynamo if he was who Ember was planning to meet, after which she broke the news that Ember had passed away during a job, and if Dynamo was to ask for further details, Blossom would say she didn't know as she wasn't told all of the details.

Blossom then would offer her support and attempt to comfort Dynamo, after which she would leave, but that wasn't last time Dynamo would see her, as she would appear almost daily to offer support and/or to just generally act friendly towards him, regardless of where Dynamo was...

"Okay, then I'll see you tomorrow. Goodnight and take care, Ember." He followed Ember out of the restaurant, before watching her take flight and leaving the area. He waved at her retreating form and smiling softly. He stood there for a moment longer, before taking his leave for home.

As the next day began, Dynamo had been busy working in the arcade. He made sure to work double time to make sure he would be done early. He knew that they didn't specify a time of when he and Ember would meet, but he didn't want to take any chances. He would occasionally look at the front doors to see if the dragon-pony would show up, but there was no such luck. The blue unicorn became concerned, but chalked it up as she must have been busy and was running late. Even after he left for the day, Dynamo stood near the front entrance to the arcade building. There he stood, waiting and watching for when Ember would show up. After a while, Dynamo sighed as he assumed that Ember must have been busy and wasn't able to show up. He was hoping to at least get some sort of letter, but it must have been last minute notice.

As he made his way to get something to eat, he suddenly ran into a mare known as Ice Blossom. He apologized to the mare as he didn't mean to bump into her, but it seemed as if she was looking for him. He raised an eyebrow at the mention of Ember's name, but wondered how Blossom knew the dragon-pony mare. Upon hearing about Ember's fate, Dynamo gasped with eyes widened in shock. He shook his head and tried to ask question upon question, while trying to be in denial. He felt visibly sick to his stomach as he was afraid to have lost someone that he considered a friend and possibly more than just a friend. He smiled slightly in appreciation to Blossom's support, but he knew this would take a long time. He had lost his father a year or two ago and now he lost someone again. Over the course of time, Dynamo would occasionally run into Blossom as she helped give him support and kindness. To which, he returned with kindness and friendship, as well.

This went on for about a month, during which there was no further information about Ember or her unusually friendly crow, but since the crow was like any other, there was no way knowing if it was still around or not, though Dynamo would probably notice that there seemed to be lot more of said bird around considering he hadn't seen much of them before meeting Ember.

After said month had passed from Ember's sudden disappearance and apparent death, one night, Dynamo would be woken up by knocking on the window closest to his bed, followed by alarmed caws, there was crow trying to get his attention, and it would continue knocking on the glass and cawing until Dynamo would either go outside or let it in, and in latter case it would lead Dynamo outside by cawing and knocking on any door that may have been closed on the way outside.

When outside, there wasn't anything obvious to see, but the crow would lead Dynamo behind a corner where there was something, or in this case, someone laying on the ground, breathing weakly and irregularly. When getting closer, there was no question who it was, Ember, and based on the marks on the ground, she had had very rough landing, though it was quickly apparent that it was probably least of her problems, as she was in pretty bad shape. 

The most obvious thing to notice was that she was badly malnourished, but there was also other things that would be apparent right away, they being...one of her horns was broken, rest of them were dull and overgrown, the hair on her mane and tail were dirty and entangled, she was missing few scales here and there, she was visibly shaking, and last and least there was small amounts of rather fresh blood on her here and there, but it was easy to figure out it wasn't hers.

Other things that weren't so obvious and would only be apparent when trying to talk to her and move her were that she was barely conscious and that she had most likely broken several bones during the landing. Her replies to anything said were only weak groans and other sounds indicating weakness and pain.

The crow had landed on Ember and cawed in distress between trying its best to clean her up by picking up any bigger pieces of dirt and such that it could find.

The time Dynamo and Blossom had spent together had gone on for a month. The blue unicorn had to accept the fact that maybe Ember really was gone. He hadn't seen her or her pet crow in quite a long time. He even spotted a few crows here and there when passing by town, but they weren't the same crow that he remembered. Even if he accepted the fact that she was gone, it still didn't change the fact that still missed her. After said month had bone by, Dynamo was busy asleep in his bed at night. While he was asleep, he was woken up by a loud knocking on his bedroom window. He sat up slowly and groaned, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes as he tried to figure out the source of the noise. There were a few more knocks, while Dynamo turned towards the window. He tilted his head slightly, confused as he noticed a crow was knocking. 'Okay. That's just weird. Usually birds don't go flying into town this late. Not only that, but it's a crow.' He got out of bed and started to make his way towards the window. 

The gaming stallion was going to give that crow a piece of his mind and make it leave. Of course, that's what he thought about doing at first. As soon as he opened the window, he saw the crow go towards the front door. He heard the tapping of the door with it's beak, but decided that maybe this was worth looking into. "I mean, what am I going to do with it being the middle of the night? Going to chase after a crow, right?..." With a heavy sigh, Dynamo grabbed his jacket and started making his way towards the front door of the house. He made sure to bring his Quest Controller just in case he needed to swipe the crow away from the house. As he opened the door and made it outside, he was following the crow, who was leading Dynamo around the corner. After slipping the controller on his arm, he followed the crow and was shocked to see something around the corner. However, this something was actually someone. Upon taking a few tentative steps forward, he soon discovered that the someone was Ember. "...Wait a minute. Ember...!?" He rushed over to her and tried to make sure that this was all real. After scanning his surroundings, he shook his head as he couldn't believe what was happening. 'This doesn't make sense. First, she's gone for a month and now she's here? What in Equestria is going on around here?' He thought as he was shocked to see that Ember was really in bad shape. She was malnourished, her breathing was weak, she had a broken horn, her mane and tail were entangled, she was missing a few scaled and she was shaking badly.

"...Ember? Ember, can you hear me...?" He didn't touch the dragon-pony as he noticed a small crater in which she was laying in. Dynamo had just woken up, but the blue unicorn was able to deduce that she may have gotten hurt in her landing. He could see the crow was beginning to clean Ember up by picking up any sort of dirt and cawed. 'What do I do? She needs help and she needs it now.' He thought as he he had a number of options. He could always go to the hospital as they would give Ember the treatment she needed. He could try and let her stay with him as he would need to nurse her back to health. The only problem was that he wasn't proficient with healing magic and he wasn't a medical expert. The injuries she sported were obvious, but he didn't know if there was more injuries that he wasn't aware of. "...Hey, little crow. I don't know if you can understand me, but I need to know. Were you followed by anyone when you and Ember made your way over to my house? Shake once for yes or twice for no." He knew this might not work, but he needed to weigh his options and figure out what he could do at the moment.

The crow shook its head twice, it may have not understood most of what Dynamo said, but Ember had taught it several commands, and it was smarter than its owner gave it credit for. It then moved to remove dirt from the holes that the missing scales created, luckily the skin seemed to still be intact, so it pecking didn't hurt Ember, though she probably wouldn't have felt it anyways considering her other injures.

Dynamo watched with interest as the crow shook its head twice. That gave Dynamo the idea that they weren't followed, but the blue unicorn wasn't convinced. He knew the crow was smart, but he wasn't sure if it understood the question he had asked. "If only Ember was awake and conscious to let me know if they were followed, or if she could ask the crow. They have more of a better connection to understand one another." He sighed, knowing that he was running out of time. His eyes darted around to try and hurry to think of a plan. He noticed the crow had been removing the dirt from where the missing scales were. 'Oh, if only Starlight were here...' He stopped mid thought as he eyes widened, before grinning. '...Starlight! Of course! She'd know what to do! I just need to get to her and then we can try to heal Ember...' He decided to go head over to the castle of friendship, before a thought had crossed his mind. '...Wait a minute. The castle is almost all the way across town at this point. It doesn't help that it's off the beaten path away from town...' He groaned with a sigh, closing his eyes for just a moment as he weighted his options once more. "Okay. I'll take the crow's words into consideration, but only with a grain of salt. I'll go to the hospital to see if she can be treated. I don't think I'll be getting much sleep tonight at this point. If there is any sort of trouble near the hospital, then I make a beeline over to Starlight."

Nodding at the plan he told himself, Dynamo stood up and took a deep breath. He casted a levitation spell upon Ember, while slowly levitating the dragon-pony into the air. He motioned her over to him slowly, before gently placing her on his back. Making absolutely sure not to damage or irritate any of the injuries any further. "Just hold on and bear with this for a little longer, Ember. I promise I'll get you the help you need..." He looked over to the crow and nodded. "...I'll need you on lookout. We're going to the hospital to help get Ember treated. However, if there's any sort of trouble that you might notice, then let me know. We'll change directions as soon as possible." He concluded as he started down the path and began making his way towards the Ponyville hospital.

The crow soared to the sky, letting out a set of caws, and after a second same set of caws could be heard some distance away in different direction, then a little bit further, and so on, the crow had a full on alarm network with help of its own kind.

There was no trouble during the way to the hospital, in fact, there was barely any creatures around, and those who were, were way too drunk to care about Dynamo, but unfortunately it wasn't all roses and sunshine, as Ember's breathing was getting constantly worse. When at the hospital, a nurse who seemed to be on a break noticed Dynamo and Ember and ran inside to get more ponies and needed equipment to get Ember inside safely. Dynamo would be told to wait in the waiting room as Ember was brought in, and they tried to get the crow to stay behind too, but it fought like its life depended on it and they decided that it was lot easier if they just let it come with. 

After ten minutes or so, a doctor came to the waiting room and walked to Dynamo "She's stabilized but in bad shape, before i can say more, I need to ask you few questions. What is your relationship with her? a friend? family? And most importantly, what happened to her?"

As Dynamo started making his way towards the Ponyville hospital, he took notice of the crow, who had soared towards the sky and cawed. He squinted his eyes slightly as the crow had blended into the night sky, but he could soon hear another set of caws. "It seems like all the crows are acting as a sort of alarm. Maybe it's their way to both in leading the way, while making sure everything is safe." He muttered to nobody in particular. Upon arriving and walking through town, the blue unicorn had noticed that there was barely any creatures around. With the occasional pony every now and then, the area looked like a ghost town. As he heard Ember's breathing was worsening, Dynamo picked up the pace and began to hurry over towards the hospital.

As he finally arrived at the hospital, Dynamo entered the facility. A panicked and concerned look was upon his face. "Hello? Can anyone help me, please!? I have someone who's really inured and needs medical attention!" Thankfully, there was a nurse who seemed to have been on break. More nurses and doctor's were called as Ember was placed upon a stretcher. Even though he wanted to go with the team of doctors, the gaming stallion nodded as he was told to stay in the waiting room. He watched in surprise as Ember's crow companion had arrived and was able to go be with the dragon-pony. He wanted to admit that he was a bit jealous, but he knew there wasn't a time for that. He sat in an available chair, while trying to wait patiently. His back hoof tapped the ground as he was becoming impatient. What felt like a few minutes had felt like hours in his mind. 

Eventually, he saw a doctor had begun making his way over to Dynamo. The blue unicorn looked up and waited with baited breath over the news. Upon hearing that Ember was stable, Dynamo sighed in relief. The moment was short lived as he heard that Ember was in bad shape, but he supposed that it was to be expected. As he was asked multiple questions, Dynamo nodded as he tried to answer as honestly as possible. "Okay and I understand, sir. She's my friend and I honestly don't know what happened to her. I met her about a month ago and we were planning to meet up again. The day after we met, she didn't show up. I thought she was running late or that she was busy at the time. I bumped into this pony who told me that Ember had been terminated. I didn't want to believe it, but over time, I thought I had to accept the fact. After a whole month had passed, I was awoken to the sound of her crow companion. It lead me over to Ember, who was lying in a crater and it looked like she had seen better days. That's all I know, honest. Is she going to be okay? Can I see her?" He asks, hoping to be there for his friend in case she woke up.

The doctor wrote something down, muttering missing for a month, assumed dead, most likely crash landing. He then looked back towards Dynamo "Unfortunately it's too early to make any kind of predictions on her recovery, we can't even figure out all of her injuries yet because she's way too weak for us to move her to X-ray. It will be few moments longer until I can let you see her, but you can come closer to her room to wait..." he gestured Dynamo to follow him, he lead him down a hallway staying quiet until there was nopony else around "...Her state indicates that she has been trapped somewhere without food or way to clean herself up, she is also badly sleep deprived, but she is also perfectly hydrated, so she has had water to drink...this all combined with the blood on her and what we know about her already indicates that she has been someone's prisoner..." he then lead Dynamo to an office and closed the door after him, then sitting down behind his desk "...usually we would contact guard in these situations but lucky for you both I'm on her side..." "...so tell me about this pony who claimed she was dead."

Dynamo waited patiently, but he was beginning to feel anxious. Sure, he was glad to know that Ember was alright. However, he still wanted to be there for her and make sure that she would be in safe hooves. As he listened to the doctor, he frowned in disappointment. While it pained for him to admit, he supposed that the doctor made a fair point. "I guess it doesn't help that she's also malnourished. She would have to regain some of her strength to even go and get X-rays..." He noted as he was tasked with waiting a little longer by the doctor. He wanted to protest as he wasn't very patient at times. He changed his tune as he was asked by the doctor to follow alongside him. As they turned around the corner, he looked around to see that there was nobody else around, except the two of them. "...She looked exhausted from when I found her in the crater. I didn't know if it was due to the injuries she had, the fact that she was tired, or both. I guess a lot of things must have happened in that month's time..." While he wasn't a doctor, he felt as if he could understand what the doctor was trying to explain to the blue unicorn.

As he was lead towards a room, he watched the door open to see that it was this doctor's office. Once the doctor sat behind his desk in a chair, Dynamo looked over and walked over to the available seat in the room. As he took a seat, he nodded as he was thankful to hear that the doctor was on Ember's side. "...Okay, then. Let's see...her name is Ice Blossom. She's a light blue unicorn mare. She bumped into me one day after the work when Ember had disappeared. Blossom somehow knew Ember's name right off the bat. I didn't want to believe it, but after some time, I guess I sort of believed her words to be true. She offered her condolences and she was there for me every day for a month. We usually talked to one another and we eventually became friends. The only weird thing was that wherever I went, she was sure to either follow, or she was there already. We got to know each other and it's true that you can know someone like the back of your hoof. I guess I'm just overthinking things. I'm sorry, sir. I guess it's just really late and so much had happened. That's pretty much all I know about Blossom."

The doctor wrote few things down as he listened, after Dynamo had finished he spoke again "With Ember nothing is overthinking. I don't personally know the mare you described, but it's better to keep her away until Ember is capable of telling if she's a threat..." he was quiet for a moment "...and that brings me to why I brought you here, I need to ask you a favor, somepony trustworthy needs to watch over Ember, and I'm too busy to do that, I can't rely on my staff because I don't know who I can trust, but I know enough about you to know Ember trusts you, so I'm asking that you stay with her as much as possible, but if you can't, I can find somepony else if I look hard enough." he then got up and opened the door "Room 38, 10 rooms to that direction, on the left." 

When Dynamo would arrive to the room, there was nobody besides Ember and her crow, the crow was sitting on one of Ember's overgrown horns, constantly looking around...it was guarding her. Ember's breathing was mostly stable now, but it was still severely weaker than normal, she was laying still eyes towards the door, she was awake, but it was clear she would have rather not been, as she looked dead tired and just generally suffering "So.......you......really........do......care...." her voice was weak, "....a....pleasant.....surprise."

Dynamo could only sit patiently as the room was left in a deafening silence. The only sounds breaking said silence were the ticking of the clock on the wall, as well as the scribbling of the doctor's pencil upon the paper. Once the doctor was all set to talk, Dynamo listened with interest about what he had to say. To say that he was surprised was an understatement. From what the doctor had described, it sounded as if he had known a bit about Ember. "I guess you know a lot of the ponies in town to know a bit about each and every one of them. That's how you know a bit of information regarding Ember..." His eyes widened at the mention of the favor, while feeling slightly worried. He wasn't much of a fighter, but he was able to fend for himself. However, he remembered Ember's words about the enemies that she had, while being in the crime-world. "...Wait a second. You have highly trained staff, who work at the hospital. It just sounds strange for you to say that you don't know who to trust..." He wanted to refuse, but something in his heart told him not to refuse. They didn't really say it to each other, but Dynamo felt as if she was a friend to him. It was then that he knew what he wanted to do.

"...Okay, sir. You can count on me to help. There are times where I work, but if you need someone to help guard her, then I know somepony who can help out. Her name is Starlight Glimmer. I know she works at the School of Friendship, but she's very capable of looking after someone..." As he took a better look at the doctor, Dynamo had a sort of realization. "...Now that I think about it, I think I know you. It was you who told me that I was pretty lucky. I was practicing a spell and it drained my magic to absolute zero. As I woke up, you told me that Starlight used her own magic to keep me stable to get help at the hospital. I thank you and Starlight for helping me get back to full health. You also don't have to worry about that spell I was practicing. Starlight and I made sure to label that spell as forbidden and to only use it as a last resort spell..." He watched as the doctor stood up, before making his way over towards the door. "Room 38. Okay, I've got it. Thanks a lot for all of your help doctor. I guess I'll see you soon." He bowed before the doctor, before making his way to the designated room.

As Dynamo made it towards Room 38, he opened the door and stepped inside Ember's hospital room. He looked around to see that it was absolutely empty. All except Ember, who was laying down in one of the available hospital beds. He could even see her crow companion perched upon one of Ember's overgrown horns. He waved to the crow and gave it a thankful look for keeping Ember safe. His ears suddenly perked as he heard Ember's voice. It was low and weak, while she looked absolutely drained of energy. "Hey. Don't try to talk. Try to save your strength, Ember..." He walked over, before pulling up a chair to sit in. After taking a seat, he looked into her gaze and placed a hoof upon her bed. "I would say it's not a surprise to say that of course I care. Seeing you in the state that you were in had me really worried about you. H-How are you doing?" He winced internally as that was a ridiculous question to ask. He realized that the question was way too obvious. Even so, he wanted to hear it from Ember, herself.

Ember let out a short and clearly painful laugh "You...tell me.....not...to....speak.....but...ask.....how...I'm...doing..." she exhaled amused "I'm.....alive....and....very....very....vengeful...." even though her expression didn't change when she said the word 'vengeful', something in her eyes changed in a way that it would send chills down anyone's back who saw it. "...other...than.....that....pretty....awful."

Dynamo looked away and blushed in embarrassment. Letting out a sheepish laugh, while rubbing the back of his neck. "I guess I should have revered the order on my train of thought. That, or I should have thought about what to say, before saying it..." He made sure not to interrupt her as she spoke. Given with how tired and exhausted she sounded by whatever she had gone through. The moment she had mentioned the word 'vengeful,' the blue unicorn had thought he had noticed a sort of change in her eyes. He felt a chill running up and down his spine, but he felt that the word wasn't directed towards him. At any rate, it still made him feel worried about what possibly had happened. "...It looks like you had seen better days, but I'm just really thankful that you are alive..." He sighed, feeling a few tears were welling up in his eyes. "...I know that you're tired and not in the best shape at the moment, but what happened to you, Ember? I was told that you were terminated and I thought I had lost you. I didn't want to believe it, but I didn't have proof that you were still out there and possibly okay. I really missed you." He remembered their discussion on disappearing for some time about a month ago. It still didn't mean that he had to like what Ember had to go through, while being in the crime-world.

"Let...my..guard...down...and....ended up....locked...into a...old....dungeon....for....however....long....it.....has...been...." she then seemed to realize something and her weak voce got lot more serious "...wait....who...said....I..was....dead?" the crow seemed to sense its master getting more serious as it too got somehow even more serious looking than it had already been. But before Dynamo could respond to Ember's question, the doctor's voice came from the door "Ice Blossom. Light blue unicorn mare. Possibly a fake name as we don't have such pony in our books." Ember was thoughtful for a moment "Dynamo....did...she....happen...to...know....Ice...magic?"

As he listened to her story, Dynamo was honestly surprised to hear that Ember was caught off guard. He only knew her for one day, but he had a feeling that the dragon-pony was truly strong. For her guard to be down was almost simply unheard of. He could only assume that everyone can be caught off guard at some point. "I know that I received the news the day after our dinner date. Since then, it's been about a month since I've last seen you..." He was about to answer her question as he could see the seriousness in both her eyes and in her crow companion's eyes. However, he response was stopped as he could hear the doctor's voice from the door. He glanced back at the door as he felt a sudden chill run up and down his spine. It was hearing Ember's voice that brought the gaming stallion back to both her gaze and reality. "...Actually, yeah...she did. It was as if she was gifted in the powers of ice. She showed up the very same day when you didn't make it to our plan to hang out for the afternoon. Since that day, she was there for me in my time of grief after I thought I had lost you. Why do you ask?"

"I'll....explain....when...I...can.....talk....better....just....know....that....she's....not...who....she....claims...." Ember responded before moving her eyes towards the doctor "...if...she....comes....let...her.....I....have....a....message.....for..her...." she then turned back towards Dynamo and the doctor left without saying a word, closing the door behind him. "....But....all...that..aside....as....weird....as...it..is.......I......missed.....you.....too."

Dynamo's jaw dropped slightly as he listened to Ember's response. He wanted to say that maybe there was a small misunderstanding, but he felt that he would have been lying to himself. It didn't help the fact that everywhere he went to in town, Blossom was sure to be there, as well. It was as if she was tracking his every movement, but Dynamo didn't want to make any assumption. "Okay and I'll take your word for it, Ember. I may not know exactly what's going on, but I guess I might find out in due time..." His eyes widened at the mention of wanting to send Blossom a message. Given the state that the dragon-pony was in, Dynamo wanted to argue that it was a bad idea. He could only sigh as he knew arguing wouldn't help. This was the first time seeing that she was both okay and back in town. "...I don't think it would be best to talk to Blossom. I only say that in worry because it's as if you aren't able to defend yourself. Given that you are tired and still hurt. I don't even know if Blossom will try to pull some sort of trap of sorts. However, if anything happens, then I'll do my best to protect you. I'm not much of a fighter, but I wouldn't want anything to happen to you, Ember. I don't want to lose you again..." As the doctor left the room  and closed the door, Dynamo smiled softly with a nod. "...I'm glad to know the feeling is mutual. I know I have a couple of friends in town, but it felt somewhat lonely knowing that you weren't in town. I get that it might not make sense, but still. Just try to rest and save your strength, okay?" He wanted to ask why she had said missing him was weird, but he knew her well being was more important right now.

"She...will...try....but....won't...succeed...." Ember calmly assured "...she's...just...a mere...pawn...." she seemingly tried to move but ended up just wincing  from pain "...But...I...guess...you're...right......I ...should...try...to...rest." she then closed her eyes, but she didn't actually fall asleep for quite a long time. The crow tried to go in Ember's mane, but it was too tangled and dirty for it to do so, so it laid down on Ember's torso instead, constantly looking around for any dangers.
