I don't really read a lot of comics, so I don't really know a lot of comic writers, but if I were to have a favorite comic book writer, I would have to go with G. Willow Wilson for her great work on Ms Marvel.

I don't really go by writers just the comic itself. Since sometime they tends to hit and miss when starting a new series. But the one that stick to his guns is Jhonen Vasquez.
