I'm a little bit concerned about how the Nintendo Switch 2 is going to be received when it releases in a couple of months as of me typing this. Right now, the high price points and arguably the lack of games for it from Nintendo, are issues that have garnered a lot of backlash. This is especially true with the price. Almost $700 CAD for a video game console if you include taxes and tariffs on top of the original retail price of $630 CAD. In U.S. currency, it's about $450 before taxes.

I'm sorry to hear that. I understand that feeling from previous experiences, it's quite valid.  Please don't let anyone make you feel bad about yourself, even if it's from a family member.

When you feel more comfortable, maybe you should sit down and discuss your feelings with your mother. Having a genuine heart to heart conversation could really help in the long run for your relationship.

Things will get easier. Please try to do some things that can relax you and do some self-care.

if songs like Black Eyed Peas Where is the Love could not stop people from supporting perpetual conflict, I doubt shows like My Little Pony Friendship is Magic could either, human nature is simply too flawed. Me and @Night Sky wished we could be reborn in the fictional world of MLP FIM not just because of cute characters, it's because while they're not perfect either, they seem to be more spiritually elevated than people IRL, by this I mean ethics, not religion. People have had ample chances to stop supporting war and division like racism, sexism and transphobia, but they keep doing it. The only thing we can do is limit the influence of the toxicity of others on our lives, we can never truly get rid of it. That's just how it is.

Bit down actually, I was tired from this week already, playing Ultrakill made me feel momentarily better, but then I crashed again when I realized that I don't have anyone to share my joy of the game with. My only friend doesn't know anything about the game, and isn't the kind of person to fake interest, so sharing things about it with him is pointless, and unlike with my art and such, I can't really share clips from the game and such here either, because it's such a bloody game.

You don't have to feel that way, I know other people feel like that too sometimes, even myself, I was feeling sad the other day, but I don't want you to go through that. Please if at all possible, find the motivation to keep going. We care about you.

Thank you! I'm actually feeling a lot better now! Unfortunately, I don't grow up with the same type of family a lot of other people get to have. I'd probably, and I'm not even exaggerating here, get killed or kicked out if I even tried to do something like that. :c I wish I had a relationship that wasn't so abusive, but it's alright. Hey @Astralshy Just wanted to remind you that it's okay to feel overwhelmed in life and that you are not failing in any regard.

Whenever we feel overwhelmed, we usually think it means that we have to fix everything all of a sudden, but sometimes the best thing that we could do in moments like that is to pause and step back. It's like a urge to scratch this itch in our minds.

The first thing our minds usually do is make judgements and exaggerate the situation beyond what it is. Try to take a few moments to focus on your breathing to create a little space during these moments. It's like you are out on the wide blue sea and you get swept up into these storms. 

Instead I want you to just notice those thoughts similar to how you would observe clouds passing through the sky. It's something I learned from practicing mindfulness.

Everything that you are feeling is very valid and real, but they do not define you and are not completely what you truly are. 

When life throws a billion things at you, it's hard to remember who you are. A kind and compassionate person deserving of love and happiness.

You're welcome. Just remember that you are an exceptionally strong person that is capable of so much.

It is not my place to go further into your personal matters, so I will only say this:

You are young now, but as you get older,  please try to focus on building your own independence as a adult for a secure future full of freedom.

Educate yourself, build new skills and hobbies, and make long lasting friendships as they will help you down the line. 

Don't forget that it's okay to make mistakes too. You are going to make lots of them, but you will have a lot more successes.

I know that eventually one day, you will get all the love and safety that you deserve as a human being from both your family and friends. I wish you well.

I feel stressed.  For the first time in many years, I'm having an ear infection.  Still going through eye treatment and back soreness the past several mornings.

Both exhausted and agitated. This maybe too general to judge Japan as a whole but it’s not really great or “wonderful” as most people say it is. Chaotic and crowded. It’s like New York on steroids. The only good way to experience is to stay away from crowds (which is the hotel experience). Ironically this comes from an extroverted guy here.
