So what's next for MLP ? [help a lost pone]

I was away from the forum but also from the show, I'm still watching season 8 so far and I know that season 9 is the last. But did the producer have planned anything else ? Like a movie or a new show in a few years ?
Will they continue the comics ? I'm late on those too !

I haven't looked up for news so I'm completely lost. Is this the real end of MLP ?

Simply asking to get caught up would be better done through a status update or perhaps a blog entry. As once your questions are answered, the thread no longer serves a purpose. I would also recommend using Google.com for information.

Allow me to catch you up as best as I can, however so you’re not left totally in the dark...

• Season 9 is the end of the series. However, season 10 will continue in the comics.
• There is another movie planned. It is coming out this year or in 2021 (different resources state different years).
• There is also generation 5 but we are unsure as to when that will come or what it will be about. We can only speculate.

What is coming soon is the comedy series Pony Life.
