How do I post a Status Update?

Hello, I've seen other posts on this same forum website asking how to post a status update... However, it doesn't work for me. I'd highly appreciate if anyone may tell me how to post a status update? Thanks. :))

You probably have the option to post status updates disabled on your profile. 
 

On the top right corner of your cover photo on your profile, click the button that says “Edit profile”: 

 

And then you should see a little button that reads “Enable status updates?” Click it so it switches to the green check. Then, scroll all the way down and click “Save”. That should do it.
