It really only works at school where they're being watched. At home I'm sure they just toss it somewhere and do their own thing.

It's interesting idea though for a school project, but I don't think it's used where I live. At least normally.

I never had to do this project actually. They stopped doing that in my high school after a group of students destroyed all the prop babies as a senior prank.

We never did it. I'm pretty sure our school used to do it, but they ended up dropping it a couple of years ago.

Well this was a project, not a class.

This was a project given in health class. Health class, in my schools, were mandatory. You’d have no choice but to participate.

Thankfully, i never had to go through that. Though, if i did i would have just threw it at the teachers car cause i was THAT kid.
