Remember what happened to the actor of joker in the dark knight rises?

Heath Ledger didn’t commit suicide because of the Joker. Stop believing that myth ffs.

You lose your identity... Just like my fic character who is all praise to her aunt  pinkie pie.and gone mad to want to replace her....of course she is way far gone...but you know.....sketch-1593850728592.thumb.jpg.f1b30a7a57a77cdd5a1f5191fc23b348.jpgit might be fun?

..? What. How do you lose your identity exactly. You just learn you had a second life as a character at some point.  The f***.

..thats what kinning is? I thought kinning is you relate so much you become the character. Not reincarnate stuff....? Right? I got confused at the second life thing....

And joker thing....i really don't know if it was a myth or not. It was the one thing that popped into my mind. Lets say the might was true. Then that kinda scenario is what im just pointing out then.

And if you do" the f*** "does  that mean your mad at me?

I didnt mean to piss anyone though. Im sorry? I suppose?

- Lolbit

- Roxanne Wolf

- Spinel

- Ocellus

- Anne from Amphibia

- Millie

I think that's more than a few....

For me, I strongly identify with several characters. One of them, Rapunzel (Disney version) is me from a younger point in my life, but I was her and still am to a point. Presently, and probably forever, I AM Belle, a certain princess who likes books and talking to the furniture.

I don't see any problem about 'kinning' a character. Characters are made for audience to feel related to, hence why would you have a favorite character in the first place? Sorta like a "comfort" character. I have some few characters that I feel kin with since they have the same or similar personality traits and values as me. As long you don't let that character over shadowing who you are, then it's not a huge deal at all.  There's differences between relating to a character and trying to be that character.

I’m not fictionkin, but I am therian and have been since I was a teenager.

However I am otherhearted. Otherhearted is when you identify *with* something but not as it yourself. For example, if you’re ponyhearted then you have a strong connection to ponies and they feel like close family to you. I feel like that towards the lion king universe and all of its characters. They’re all extremely important to me and they feel like friends and family to me. The pridelands feels like my long lost home in a way. :(

Hmm, I've never felt that I'm a character or a character is a part of me. I can get really engaged in a story and love characters, but I always do it from a point of a spectator, even in games. That might explain why I never get emotional enough to cry

The characters I like to kin are typically the ones that I relate to in a way that’s going to help me. For example, Fluttershy getting more assertive each season helped me to become more assertive as well. I want to say I kin with my OCs as well but I’m not sure if that counts since they have parts of me in them whether I realize it or not.
